RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full set of Accounts (eg: GL, AP, AR, Bank reconciliation, Payroll & etc)
• Plan, oversee overall accounting strategy
• Oversea accounting daily operation
• Responsible for AR/AP, cash receipt, GL, payroll, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure
• Handling full spectrum of payroll from overtime & commission calculation to processing of employees salary
• Monthly CPF submission
• Quarterly GST Submission
• Monitor and analyses accounting data
• Regularly produce financial reports and statement
• Tax Computation
• Encourage other employee to adhere to standard
• Provide recommendations

REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Accountancy
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferable with knowledge of Accounting System
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently

Job Responsibilities:

· Data entry

· Liaise with overseas tax agents about withholding tax, monitor the process & application of withholding tax

· Explore and advice sales & presales manager on various countries tax related matters for overseas project billing

· Liaise with internal legal advisor from overseas parent company, review sales & purchase contracts in terms of payment and breach of contract clauses and preparing of contracts

· Dealing in project allocation cost and work in progress

· Preparing and keep track of the sub-contract flow between parent and subsidiary companies

· Liaise with other project managers, customers and etc. in respect of payments, collections and man-day follow up

. Manage a few subsidiaries' accounts and reporting to MD

· Assist Senior Accounts Executive from HQ in China with various tasks, including adjustments (if necessary)

· Any other ad-hoc accounting / administrative tasks as assigned by the Management

Job Requirements:

· Required language(s): English and Mandarin to liaise with overseas counterparts, such as China due to they are Mandarin speaker

· At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position

· Required Skill(s): PROFICIENT in Microsoft Excel (advance level) is a MUST to generate various reports

· Hand on knowledge of SAP / Autocount software is an advantage

· Able to meet tight deadline & hands on experience

· Multi-tasking and could solve problem independently

Responsibilities

Management and Financial Reporting:

•Assist Finance Manager on the overall management of the accounting records and financial reports of the hotel ensuring compliance with group, company owner, statutory fiscal requirements, and timelines.

•Support Finance Manager and be part of the business partner to support business unit in all operation accounting related matters, both financial and commercials (where applicable), including the interpretation of monthly financial data (not limited to P&L).

Team Leadership:

•Supervises areas of Accounts Payable (AP) and Cost Control (CC)

•Review bank reconciliation of all bank accounts on a weekly basis, maintaining the highest standards of control over all cash and bank balances kept by team executives.

•Responsible to ensure that controls over accounts receivable are being applied correctly and to take action to rectify any problems identified if they are not.

•Provide guidance and support to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.

•Review the subordinates daily routine work covering journals, accruals, prepayments, AP and AR, payroll, cashiering and fully in-charge of GL closing.

General Ledger and Reporting:

•Responsibility for the General Ledger (GL), ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Prepare and submit internal and external financial reports to the corporate office.

•Ensure timely monthly closing and submission to corporate office and internal stakeholders.

•Ensure that the balance sheet is a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the hotel, regularly reviewed, and reconciliations of all accounts performed before final closing monthly basis.

•Ensuring all revenue is accurately accounted for financial integrity and performance visibility.

•Submission of GST, Taxes and Pension on a monthly basis.

Compliance and Control, internal and external audit:

•Liaise and co-operate with both internal and external audit ensuring that an effective programme of in-hotel audit is in place and that corrective action is promptly taken where required.

•Emphasis to ensure all revenue are accounted for, making use of a monthly control checklist, and conducting interim self-audits as required.

Best Practices and Procedures:

•Develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures, updating of SOP and P&Ps.

•Maintain a focused system of internal controls, providing effective and efficient control over hotel assets, liabilities, revenue, and costs, ensuring compliance with company and group policy.

•Assist Finance Manager to establish robust credit control and credit management policies within the guidelines set out by Group Policy and following best practice principles.

•Assist in budget / forecast, capital plans keeping to the highest possible standard and privacy.

•Other ad-hoc assignments and projects as needed and when assigned by Finance Manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate preparation of accounts, financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, human resource, administration matters and conducting internal cyclical audits. Your primary goal will be to contribute to our organization's quality accounting and financial reporting standards. Moreover, the candidate must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

● Reach out to various personnel in the Group Companies to collect and record quality accounting and financial information

● Liaise with relevant parties like customers & suppliers for AR/AP functions

● Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Full-Set Accounts and Management Reports

● Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annual accounts

● Serve various subsidiaries and entities within the Group

● Create quality management reports to facilitate monitoring and effective business decision making

● Responsible for management of Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable and Cash Management

● Maintaining schedules of assets relating to fund management and activities within the group

● Prepare tax documents

● Compile and analyze financial statements and recommend appropriate actions to be taken

● Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts in parts and whole for various business segments

● Assist in preparation of materials for fund raising, rights-issue, and placement exercise

● Prepare matters relating to Human Resource and Administration as well as compliance with MOM guidelines

● Constantly improve reporting standards by getting feedback from relevant staff and management

Requirements:

● 1 - 2 years' of Bookkeeping, Accounts and Admin experience

● Interns and/or Fresh Graduates are also welcomed to apply

● Able to prepare full set of accounts

● Accounting Qualifications from Reputable Body or University

● Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals

● Ability to prepare Management reports to ensure that any adverse situation may be pre-empted and allow for sufficient time to avoid any serious consequences

● Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

● Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
