Integra Petrochemicals Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, is looking for an Accountant
Reporting directly to the Group Accountant, the Accountant will be part of a dynamic finance team based in the Singapore headquarters of the group where all global finance and taxation matters are centralized. With presence across multiple international markets, the company’s diverse overseas entities offer exciting opportunities for the Accountant to play a pivotal role in shaping the company's global financial success.
The Accountant plays an important role in the accounting team and would allow the individual to gain full exposure to all accounting and taxation aspects in an international trading company. The Accountant will be responsible for
Managing and mentoring a team of accounts executives.
Preparing and developing a clear understanding of entity level accounts and schedules, working closely together with the Group Accountant towards consolidating the accounts at group level under International Financial Reporting Standards.
Handling all taxation and audit matters in relation to the entities under his/her care.
Preparing reports to management as well as to a stock-listed shareholder.Coordinating and supporting the team on transactional finance matters such as VAT/GST filing, demurrage tracking and other invoicing matters.
Typical profile:
- Driven, highly organized team player.
- Qualified accountant holding ACCA, CPA or similar level qualification. Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience as an accountant and/or auditor or equivalent
- Prior experience in financial reporting under listed companies/groups/trading companies will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in managing a team of accountants will be a plus.
- Strong accounting/audit and analytical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to work across cultures and languages in a global organization.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
