We are seeking an Accountant to perform accounting and administration tasks in respect of various Funds and entities managed by us. The key responsibilities are as follows:

1. Processing and recording transactions for Fund and Group entities;
2. Setting up and verifying online payment transactions;
3. Maintaining full set of accounts, including GL, AP/AR and bank accounts;
4. Generating management accounts - monthly, quarterly and annual reports;
5. Preparing basic group consolidation packs;
6. Assisting in the completion and submission of reports to MAS, ACRA, IRAS and CIMA;
7. Preparing basic group consolidation packs;
8. Liaising with company secretarial firms - maintaining registers and filing with regulators ; and
9. Working with tax agents to prepare tax returns and with auditors to draft AFS.
10. Preparing GST returns

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. About 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience (Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA equivalent);
2. Experience in fund accounting and group consolidation will be advantageous;
3. Energetic, strong analytical and time management skills;
4. Familiar with Microsoft Office suite with proficient in MS Excel;
5. Flexible and able to work independently across different time zones;
6. Experience with MYOB / Xero accounting systems will be an added advantage.

6. Audit and taxation - Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure smooth audit and tax filing processes.

7. Cash Management - Manage cash flow, ensure adequate funds for operations and invest surplus funds as apprvoed by Council.

8. Financial Analysis - Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision making by Council.

About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team, specializing in Billing, Accounts Receivable, Financial and Management Reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to handle high volumes and diverse billing requirements while ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial and GST regulations. This role also encompasses other responsibilities such as month-end closing, project accounting, intercompany transactions and reconciliation, audit and tax, internal and external audit.

Responsibilities:

• Issue accurate and timely invoices to customers, in compliance with GST regulations and contract terms.
• Follow-up and resolve any billing discrepancies and issues with stakeholders, reconcile and close out open items.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow-up on overdue accounts, update daily collections report and posting of collections in SAP.
• Assist in the month-end closing process, prepare journals, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded in compliance with Singapore FRS and Group Policy.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial and management reporting package and schedules, including statistical analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Track revenue related documents such as contracts, create client and hub codes, post invoices and revenue journals in the project management system.
• Follow-up on timesheets for accurate revenue reporting.
• Post intercompany receivable and payable invoices in the SAP system.
• Manage intercompany reconciliation and liaise with auditors for year-end audits and prepare the audit schedules.
• Support corporate tax schedules preparation and quarterly GST returns to ensure statutory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, internal policies and procedures and external requirements in area of responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance for internal audits in the internal controls and processes in area of responsibilities.
• Perform ad-hoc assignment as required and assist in process improvement and system implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable and Reporting functions.
• Ability to handle high volumes and diverse billing requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Experience in the consulting industry would be advantageous.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. SAP knowledge will be a bonus.
• Initiative, attention to details, high level of accuracy, analytical, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with various level from internal and external stakeholders.
