Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee tax compliance matters and collaborate with external consultants for Singapore and overseas jurisdictions
• Provide day-to-day tax advisory support, including business planning, review of commercial contracts, and cross-border transactions
• Offer technical tax support to regional and local finance teams and business units within the Group
• Monitor and assess new and proposed tax legislation, ensuring the business adapts accordingly
• Identify tax-efficient strategies, assist in business acquisitions, restructurings, and risk mitigation

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or relevant professional tax qualifications

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the GST implications of their business operations and transactions of various industries including financial industry
• Assist clients with the applications of GST registration, exemption and various GST schemes
• Review and e-file the clients’ GST returns
• Conducting GST health check reviews, GST due diligence reviews, Assisted Self Help Kit (ASK) reviews, Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) reviews

• Assist clients in seeking GST rulings from IRAS
• Supporting the partners in developing the GST practice and be involved in any other adhoc projects and related tasks as and when required by the Partners

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Accountancy, Finance, or relevant discipline preferably with a professional qualification as recognised by SCTP
• Minimum 6 years of Singapore GST experience, preferably from a professional services firm/accounting firm
• Must be familiar with Singapore Tax laws and guideline

Corporate Tax

• Assist and support in providing tax compliance and advisory services to clients spanning various industries
• Prepare clients' corporate and individual tax returns, including estimated chargeable income filing and withholding tax returns
• Assist clients in responding to queries from the tax authorities
• Attend to queries from clients and all matters arising from a portfolio of clients

GST

• Applying for GST registration/de-registration
• Preparing, reviewing and filing GST quarterly returns
• Assisting clients to apply for certain GST relief schemes
• Attending to GST queries raised by IRAS
• Conducting GST health checks, ASK and ACAP reviews for clients
• Handling GST audits and investigations
• Making voluntary disclosure of errors to IRAS
• Applying for advance rulings on the GST treatment of proposed transactions

Job Requirements

• Preferably Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy or SCTP Accredited Tax Professionals are preferred
• Positive attitude with great communication skills, meticulous, analytical and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Entry level candidates with recognised university degrees who are interested to pursue a career in tax are also welcome to apply as training will be provided
• Candidate with at least 3 years of relevant experience will be considered for Senior position
• Strong in written and verbal English

Job Description

• Oversee month-end closing for fixed assets, AR/AP, and recharges, ensuring accurate quarterly reports to HQ.
• Maintain and audit the fixed assets register annually, ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Complete monthly closures, including journal entries, accruals, and SAP updates.
• Coordinate inter-company transactions and manage master data for accurate balances.
• Supervise AR processes, including collections and reconciliation of payments in SAP.
• Generate aging reports and conduct annual credit limit reviews per HQ guidelines.
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation for compliance with statutory requirements.
• Streamline financial procedures, focusing on automation and alignment with policies.
• Work cross-functionally on ad-hoc projects as needed.

Job Requirement:

• Qualifications: Degree in Accountancy or similar professional accounting qualification.
• Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant environment with strong knowledge of accounting standards.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, and SAP FICO (preferred).
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and detail-oriented.
• Traits: Hands-on approach, independent worker, inquisitive, and a good team player.
