The Tax Team

Our Tax team supports organisations at every stage of the lifecycle – from structuring business tax effectively and managing any employment tax issues to transactional tax obligations and compliance. The friendly and supportive tax team works collaboratively across various four main specialties – corporate tax, goods and services tax (GST), transfer pricing, and employer solutions and private clients. Responsibilities

• Assist funds with tax incentive applications and annual declarations, including liaising with the MAS
• Review funds’ documentation (e.g., information memorandum, subscription agreement, etc.)
• Manage/support portfolio of fund clients for corporate tax compliance services
• Involved with other broader tax matters

Qualifications and requirements

The Role

Reporting to the Global Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the regional tax compliance and reporting, transfer pricing, tax planning as well as tax audit and risk management. Manage the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns for international jurisdictions. Ensure compliance with global tax reporting requirements, assist in the preparation of tax provisions for financial statements, including IFRS compliance. Coordinate with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Provide guidance to regional accounting and tax teams on compliance and reporting requirements. Other key requirements include supporting the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and documentation. Assist in developing international tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and support global operations. Research international tax law changes and provide recommendations for compliance and planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax-efficient structuring of cross-border transactions. Support international tax audits, including gathering documentation and responding to inquiries. Identify and mitigate tax risks related to international operations. Monitor BEPS-related developments and their impact on the organization. Assist in streamlining tax processes and implementing automation tools. Support the integration of tax systems with ERP platforms to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Your Profile

To qualify for this role, you must have a Degree in Accountancy with minimum 6 years of relevant tax experience within Big 4 and commercial firms. We are looking for a meticulous, hands-on, analytical and an experienced Tax specialist with a good understanding of international taxes. Job Requirements
