Summary of Job Responsibilities

• Stay updated on datacenter, construction, and technology industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Training and Advocacy

• Design and implement comprehensive training programs to foster a culture of compliance and ethical business practices across the region.

Incident Management

• Serve as the primary contact for all compliance inquiries and issues within the APAC region.
• Triage to appropriate Compliance SMEs where necessary.

Continuous Improvement

• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the compliance program.
• Adapt strategies to meet the dynamic landscape of regulations and industry standards.

Assessments/Audits/Certifications

• Conduct routine and complex assessment/audit projects independently, including assessing and reviewing documentation for internal and external teams.
• Track and monitor results, analyze information to identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with teams to remediate gaps.
• Leverage customer feedback to ensure its inclusion in compliance processes.
• Drive efficiency and scalability for programs.

Consult/Advise/Educate

• Use understanding of policies, laws, and regulations to make judgments that meet business needs.
• Interpret information to protect Microsoft and customers, and move the business forward.
• Identify and escalate non-conformance.
• Set individual program guidelines at an organization level based on corporate policies and guidelines.

Reporting

• Develop and report compliance metrics and audit issues for internal and external reporting.

• Develop strategies and processes around compliance programs independently.
• Anticipate new areas of focus based on the risk environment and ecosystem.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business, legal/regulatory, compliance, audit/consulting firm OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with multinational organizations in construction governance, risk management, compliance, internal audit, and/or a similar field.
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling risk management or compliance programs, ideally within a data center or technology-focused environment.
• Proven capability in developing and overseeing effective compliance programs.
• Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive cross-function collaboration.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Relevant Certification (e.g., International Organization for Standardization [ISO] Lead Auditor, International Association of Privacy Professionals [IAPP], Certified Public Accountant [CPA], Certified Information Privacy Professional [CIPP]).

Main Purpose of Job

To manage the overall process of inducting new Partners and their support staff in relation to the SJP systems and processes. You will support the Partnership to ensure that they are able to process new business efficiently and will identify any improvements that can be made to the process. Working in conjunction with the Partnership Development Manager’s you will also ensure the quality of documentation in relation to suitability letters and the completion of application forms are all completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities of the Job

1. Manage the onboarding of partners and supporting staff on all SJP systems and processes.
2. Drive internal management reporting that provide analysis to ensure quality submission of documents and efficient workflow are achieved.
3. Identify opportunities for process improvements
4. Drive changes and improvements in the client experience (from front to back) through various initiatives / projects.
5. Manage and assist implementation and subsequent usage of SJP’s internal platforms as well as change of process flow
6. Work alongside the Partnership Development Manager to ensure Partners understand the advice guidance process to advise their clients. You will need to train best practice around process and quality of advice documentation ensuring high standards are maintained.
7. Manage escalations and assist with issues from Partners and Advisers; provide resolution in a timely manner
8. Provide regular communication and sharing sessions to Partners regarding latest documentation, process flows and best practice updates
9. Actively share information with the team, ensuring team understanding is aligned with business priorities and opportunities

Requirements of the Job

Job Knowledge:

• Degree holder

• Relevant qualifications for the wealth management industry is desirable

• Proficiency in spoken and written English

• Experience in wealth management industry required

• Strong command in IT – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• Experience in Salesforce is mandatory

• Project Management experience is a plus
