• Data extraction from accessible databases, merging and cleaning it.
• Analyse datasets to provide meaningful insights and learnings.
• Perform calculations according to MOH technical manual to determine screening rates in HD.
• Translate stakeholder needs to generate analysis to support continuous iteration of interventions

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Health Sciences or other relevant majors. Postgrad diploma in data analytics or any other data analytics relevant certificates. Master’s degree in public health is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of the Singapore healthcare system and knowledge of integrated care models. Experience in social and/or healthcare setting is an added advantage.
• Good analytical skills.
• Proficient in Python and/or R, STATA, Tableau and SQL
• Must be able to extract, clean and analyse data.
• Ability to perform geospatial analysis is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, writing and interpersonal skill.
• Good team player.
• Possess positive attitude and able to work within given timeline.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships and creating awareness among organisations with regard to the benefits of participating in the institution’s internship programmes and hiring its students. You will also be responsible to work with students in their career development.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership / Business Development

• Actively reach out to organisations to build and cultivate partnerships to facilitate their talent management programmes.
• Proactively develop and implement strategies designed to increase student internship opportunities in the Engineering industry, as well as full-time employment opportunities for Engineering students.
• Work with the team to develop employer engagement and strengthen employer relationships through planning and organising networking opportunities and recruitment presentations.
• Support activities related to the career development of students such as event planning and management, data management and advocacy.

Career Coaching

• Oversee a group of Engineering students to develop and deliver customised one-to-one or group career coaching on career options and career strategies; resume and cover letter review, development of job search strategies and interview preparation. This will also include assessing student’s career exploration needs and determine what resources are most helpful to them.
• Conduct regular outreach efforts including workshops and presentations to classes, student clubs and organisations.
• Build strong partnerships with faculty and Overseas University partners to roll out career planning activities.
• Use the online systems effectively to reach out and track students and their progress and keep track of student employment.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
• Preferably at least 8-10 years of relevant work experience in areas of Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics.
• Passionate about helping students secure the right jobs for their needs and aspirations; experience with career coaching will be a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to both students and corporate leaders.
• Organised and mature, able to lead and motivate in a fast-paced environment.
