The Role
The successful candidate will assist the Supply Planning Manager in overseeing the planning and execution of the supply planning process. The key responsibilities are as follows:
- Lead a team of supply chain professionals in ensuring the Company has an accurate, reliable, and efficient flow of inventory to meet customers' demand
- Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to accurately predict product demand
- Effectively build the promotion uplifts and manage trend, and seasonality with respect to the DFI Banner stores
- Collaborate with commercial, category and vendors to ensure the timely availability of products
- Create the supply planning in collaboration with the supply partner and monitor inventory levels and adjust replenishment orders as needed
- Analyze data and use it to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement
- Participate in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and demand forecasts
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as fill rate and inventory accuracy
- Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, and/or relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a supply chain/demand planning role
- Experienced in forecasting, data analytics, inventory planning, supply chain concepts, statistical forecasting, and related processes
- Proficient in advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Tools
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and planning skills
