About the Role:
We are hiring a Project Manager5. The Project Manager will be managing electrical engineering projects. The work covers project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, quality control, and stakeholder communication. The Program Manager needs hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like Microsoft Project, to create project timelines, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety standards. They will collaborate with internal teams, conduct site inspections, and engage with clients and vendors. Our company aims to develop a well-rounded, capable professional ready for a Project Manager role.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules to guide project execution from start to finish.
2. Resource Allocation and Budget Management: Allocate resources effectively and manage the project budget to meet financial targets.
3. Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues proactively to minimize project disruptions.
4. Team Coordination and Leadership: Lead and coordinate the project team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and fostering effective communication.
5. Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
6. Quality Control and Compliance: Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure that the project meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Technical Skills and Competencies:
'1. Project Scheduling and Planning: Expertise in creating detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Gantt charts.
2. Budgeting and Financial Management: Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial tracking to keep projects on budget and maximize profitability.
3. Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Ability to identify potential risks, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
4. Quality Assurance and Control: Knowledge of quality management processes and standards (e.g., ISO 9001) to ensure project deliverables meet specifications.
5. Contract and Vendor Management: Experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendors, and overseeing procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
6. Proficiency in Project Management Tools: Skilled in using software like Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or Jira for project tracking, task management, and team collaboration.
