Office is in CBD - 1 day work from home, 4 days work in the office. Culture is easy going, good work life balance. Senior candidates get to do BD and bring in clients to service. Junior level staff are more delivery-focussed.

Job Description

• Working Hours: 5 days, Monday – Friday (8:45 AM – 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the GST implications of their business operations and transactions in various industries, including financial industry
• Assist clients with the applications for GST registration, exemption and various GST schemes
• Review and e-file the clients’ GST returns
• Conducting GST health check reviews, GST due diligence reviews, Assisted Self Help Kit (ASK) reviews, Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) reviews
• Assist clients in managing IRAS GST audits/investigations
• Assist clients in seeking GST rulings from IRAS
• Supporting the partners in developing the GST practice and be involved in any other ad-hoc projects and related tasks as and when required by the Partners

Job Requirements

Requirement

● The ideal candidate possesses a tertiary qualification in any discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience.

● Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in utilizing technical skills in individual tax compliance, tax planning and expatriate tax program policy and administration design; identifying and addressing client needs, building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.

● Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.

● Demonstrates success as tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships, and making introductions to market new services.

● Demonstrates knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to:

● Innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions;

● Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients;

● Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
