We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Senior Admin & Accounts Officer/Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the administrative and financial functions of the organization, ensuring smooth operations and accurate financial management. You will collaborate with various teams to support our mission of driving innovation and creating value for our portfolio companies. This role offers a hybrid working environment, combining the flexibility of remote work with the opportunity for in-person collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Functions:
• Manage day-to-day office operations, including maintaining schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement efficient administrative processes and systems.
• Act as the point of contact for vendors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
• Support team events, travel arrangements, and logistics.
Accounts and Financial Management:
• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Oversee expense reporting, payroll, and manage reimbursements.
• Collaborate with external accountants and auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Monitor cash flow and support funding-related activities.
Collaboration and Leadership:
• Work closely with leadership to provide insights on financial health and operational efficiency.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders and board members.
• Mentor and guide junior administrative or finance staff as needed.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative and financial roles, preferably in the startup, venture capital, or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a must to effectively communicate with a diverse range of overseas stakeholders.
