Job Description

• Position Title: Preschool English Teacher (L2)
• Working Location: Loyang
• Working Hours: 5 days, between 7am – 7pm (Shift-Based)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $4,000 + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, plan and conduct appropriate lessons to engage, nurture and motivate children in accordance with the curriculum
• Plan and deliver programs that support active learning both in and outside the classroom
• Track children's progress, complete reports, and maintain developmental portfolios for each child
• Establish effective classroom management
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and supportive learning environment
• Work together with parents to support children's development
• Provide routine care and ensure children's safety and hygiene

An established children's enrichment company looking to hire a responsible and committed individual to teach as well as assist in preschool to primary school aged creative arts enrichment classes. Classes are held in various locations around Singapore. Applicant must be willing to travel. Classes are held between 3- 5.30pm. Applicant must be able to teach children from 2.5 years old. Applicants should be skilled in teaching dance, music and movement and have some understanding in theatre arts and arts and craft . 3 years of experience is preferred. Serious and interested applicants must provide 2 references.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating learning through well thought-out classroom activities
• Come up with lesson plans and create classroom environment that is safe, joyful and conducive for learning as well as ensure the delivery of activities and lessons.
• Engage parents actively, in providing updates on their children’s development, establish two-way and regular communication through various modes eg face-to-face, e-mails, parent portal and forms of written communication.
• Partner fellow team mates in the centre and work together on shared goals to establish LSH as a high quality preschool provider.

Requirements:

• Minimum with a Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education, Diploma in Child Pyschology & Early Education
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice
