Close Personal Tutoring (CPT)

Tutors are best placed to ensure that students receive an excellent standard of care, guidance and support during their time at HBJ. Tutors should be the first point of contact for both their tutees and parents and, as such, will facilitate the support or guidance for the tutees using up-to-date tracking and monitoring data. • Any, and all, discussion regarding the academic and personal development of students at Invictus Centrium involving members of staff, students and parents.
• Discussions or intervention with students between tutors, teachers or Leadership.

• Correspondence from tutors, teachers or the leadership to parents discussing each student’s personal academic / pastoral profiles.
• Regular correspondence with parents as the initial school POC.

• Monitor the work of class/form students, providing guidance, advice and admonishment.
• Write and maintain relevant records for individual student files and write reports.
• Lead Pastoral Interventions as required.

Assistant Teacher (Chinese Language)

· have an accurate pronunciation for spoken Mandarin (in order to facilitate teaching in Chinese Language)

· have at least B3 Grade for 'O' Levels Higher Chinese or excellent UEC results

· display a warm and cheerful disposition

· work on weekends

We are looking for half day Assistant Teachers for various preschool centres in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Preschool Teacher in class
• Assist in daily needs of children, including showering, meal time and toileting
• Support classroom administration
• Engage with children and parents

Requirements:

• At least a Fundamental Certificate in Early childhood education
• At least 1 year experience is advantageous
• Enjoys working with children
• Singaporeans only
