RESPONSABILITIES

• Teaching physics and chemistry and the physics-chemistry speciality in middle school and high school
• Designing and implementing learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards
• Convey subject knowledge
• Designing and implementing assessment methods of student’s learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners
• Ensuring that students acquire skills including capability, good behaviour, and know-how, among others
• Leading the class and fostering students’ interest and participation
• Providing personalised monitoring of students by working closely with their family and participate in their educational project

SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• French Ministry of Education degree holder or equivalent
• Deep understanding of the subjects and the curriculum
• Experience in teaching in Middle and High school is preferable, especially in 1re and Terminale

XCL World Academy is seeking to recruit highly qualified and experienced Early & Primary Years EAL Teacher. This is a full-time contract position, starting from August 2025.

Preference will be given to teachers who are multilingual, especially in Chinese, Japanese, Korean. Preference will also be given to teachers with a background in WIDA Assessment practices, implementing the WIDA Standards, and Sheltered Instruction or CLIL.

Main Responsibilities

Person Specifications

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher / Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching and interest / capability to pickup coding on the job (Training provided), exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high teaching standards. As a Coding Trainer, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality coding education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Quality Assurance: Establish and implement a robust system to regularly assess and maintain instructor teaching quality. This includes conducting classroom observations, reviewing student feedback, and analyzing teaching outcomes to identify areas for improvement. Develop and enforce standards for instructional excellence.

- Assessment: Evaluate student performance through a variety of methods, including assessments, projects, and coding exercises. Provide detailed, constructive feedback to help students improve and succeed. Ensure assessment methods are fair, consistent, and aligned with learning objectives.

- SOP for Communication with Parents: Develop and implement SOPs to train instructors on how to effectively communicate with parents. This includes guidelines on discussing student progress, addressing concerns, and providing updates in a professional and supportive manner.

- Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks such as creating and maintaining class schedules, generating reports on student progress and instructor performance, and keeping accurate records of student enrollment and attendance.
