Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Teacher to provide personalized educational support to students in a home setting. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans, adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, and foster a positive learning environment.

Job Description:

· Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on student needs and curriculum guidelines.

· Provide instruction in various subjects, including Math, Science, Language Arts.

· Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.

· Foster a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere.

· Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs.

· Utilize educational technology and resources effectively.

· Assist students with homework and project completion.

· Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Maintain a safe and organized learning environment.

· Overseeing the student’s academic progress, providing guidance, and offering emotional support while ensuring their well-being during their studies.

· Accompany the student to school and extracurricular activities as needed.

· Holding a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics / Finance / Education / Electronic Computing, with a minor in Psychology.

· At least 1 year teaching experience (MOE and/or special needs teaching background is a plus).

· Familiar with the curriculum and syllabus of International Schools as well as Singapore's primary and secondary education systems.

· Familiarity with Spanish will be given priority consideration.

· Weekend availability.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM (based on students' dismissal times; 1 Off day)

Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
