Salary: SGD 3,500 - SGD 4,200

Working Day: 5-day work week including 1 weekend
Working Hour:

• Weekdays: 10.30am to 7.30pm //12.30pm to 9.30pm
• Weekends: 8.45am - 6.30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver English language composition writing and English language lessons in accordance with the Company's guidelines and framework to achieve desired learning outcomes.
• Mark students' scripts in accordance with the Company's guidelines and rubrics
• Ensure marked scripts are returned in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and cater to students' educational needs in a timely manner.
• Be actively involved in the planning and preparation of curriculum and innovation of teaching methodology.
• To provide timely feedback to parents and address their concerns appropriately.
• To be tasked with 12 classes of various levels (Primary 1 - Secondary 4)

Qualifications:

• Prefer candidates with a degree qualified in a related field (English Language, Linguistics, Arts and Social Sciences, Mass Communications, Humanities, and Law)
• Achieved academic excellence in English Language, English Literature and General Paper (GP).
• With at least 1 year of relevant teaching experience in established enrichment centers is preferably.
• Familiar with the latest MOE syllabus and examination requirements.
• Prior experience in teaching English language creative writing is an advantage

Wonderlit is seeking a dynamic and creative individual with a strong foundation in phonics and English to deliver our literacy programme to children ages 3 and above.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Research, source, plan and develop high quality curriculum with creative content in line with set teaching pedagogies and requirements.
• Plan and prepare weekly lessons in line with the requirements to provide high-quality learning experiences, meeting set objectives.
• Coordinate review and feedback on the curriculum and update lessons on a continuous basis to meet teaching objectives.
• Develop and conduct training programmes for teachers implementing the curriculum.
• Conduct pre-assessments of new students and progress assessments for existing students to monitor reading proficiency levels and set development/improvement goals.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• At least a Degree in Early Childhood, Educational Studies in Early Years Enrichment or Literacy, English Language or English Literature.
• At least 2 year of work experience in curriculum planning, development, training and teaching phonics and reading classes to young learners.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written with excellent academic track record in English Language.
• Good class management skills with children of all ages and background.

Chinese Language Teacher

As a professional early childhood educator, you will play an essential role in developing and caring for infants and children aged between 2 months to 6 years. You will enrich children's learning by carrying out a curriculum that prioritises aesthetics and creative expression, the discovery of the world, language and literacy, motor skills development, numeracy, and social and emotional development, all while providing a safe and clean environment for our little heroes to develop and grow.

Preschool Teacher (Seng Kang)

• Implement routine care of children in a patient and kind manner, creating teachable moments
• Create a classroom environment that is safe, joyful and conducive for learning
• Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepares a developmental portfolio for each child
• Collaborate while building a good rapport with parents and various stakeholders in guiding and sharing their child's growth and development

Infant Care Teacher (Upper East Coast Only)

• Provide attentive and responsive care to infants, including feeding, diapering to ensure their safety and well-being
• Maintain open and positive communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on their child's daily activities, development, and any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of each infant's daily activities, including feeding schedules, diaper changes, and developmental milestones. Keep records of any significant events or concerns

Assistan Preschool Teacher (Seng Kang)

• Assist in the execution of routine care activities e.g. feeding/meal time, diapering/toileting, bath/washing, sleeping/napping
• Assist in the preparation of learning activities, teaching adis and learning corners
• Assist in cleaning/disfecting of resources/toys
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activity plans for the class assigned. May be allowed to carry out activity plans with the supervision of mentor teacher
• Assist in documenting observation of children or activities while carrying out activities with children
• Assist in any ad-hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver English language composition writing and English language lessons in accordance with the Company's guidelines and framework to achieve desired learning outcomes.
• Mark students' scripts in accordance with the Company's guidelines and rubrics
• Ensure marked scripts are returned in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and cater to students' educational needs in a timely manner.
• Be actively involved in the planning and preparation of curriculum and innovation of teaching methodology.
• To provide timely feedback to parents and address their concerns appropriately.
• To be tasked with 12 classes of various levels (Primary 1 - Secondary 4)

Qualifications:

• Prefer candidates with a degree qualified in a related field (English Language, Linguistics, Arts and Social Sciences, Mass Communications, Humanities, and Law)
• Achieved academic excellence in English Language, English Literature and General Paper (GP).
• With at least 1 year of relevant teaching experience in established enrichment centers is preferably.
• Familiar with the latest MOE syllabus and examination requirements.
• Prior experience in teaching English language creative writing is an advantage
