Roles and Responsibilities:

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, apparatus, etc. for Science Activity-Based lessons, demonstrations, experiments, practical tests, workshops and pupils’ assignments.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy Science room environment.
• Maintain resources and apparatus are in good working condition.
• Report all faulty equipment immediately.
• Maintain up-to-date records of the use of apparatus / resources. (e.g. breakage record and indicate necessary replacement)
• Prepare Termly reports for the use of Activity-Based lessons by classes and levels.
• Be the teacher aide during hands-on lessons conducted by teachers and during station-based hands-on assessment.
• Perform simple administrative work including stocktake/ cataloguing/ loan records.
• The officer should also assist in any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• School may request staff to be involved in urgent and important duties e.g. During evacuation, emergencies.
• During school holidays or off-peak periods, the Teacher Aide may be requested to provide support in other areas in the school, with permission from the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum GCE O-level education
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• At least 2 years working experience in local school for similar position
• Knowledge of Science is preferred
• Experience working in the Science lab is preferred

• Embrace the principles of 3Rs (Respect, Reciprocal, Responsive) when interacting with infant.
• Promote age-appropriate and holistic development through engaging and stimulating activities.

· Job Requirements:

• Minimum with a Higher Certificate in Infant Care(HCIC), Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY), Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care + Early Years Development Framework (CITC+EYDF)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a passion in teaching young children.
• Min 2 years experience

Experience and Qualifications

Lesson Timings: 2h each lesson

Salary: $35-50/hr

Job Scope:

Able to provide a fun and interactive lesson for students

Improvement of curriculum, creating lesson materials/tests

Provide parents simple follow up of their child’s learning progress

General organisation of classroom, day to day operation of a tuition centre, scheduling and administration duties

Requirements:

Minimum Qualification 5 GCE A Levels

Able to teach JC Math, good knowlegde of content

Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in teaching tuition centre, student care or taught in group tuition (3 or more student), or 1-1 home tuition

Able to commit at least 6 months or up to the end of academic year

Familiar with MOE Syllabus

Prefer tutor to be able to help with various level/subjects

Pre school, primary and secondary level English Math Science and Chinese offered in the tuition centre.
