Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic English teachers with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the education field. Familiarity with the British and American curriculum is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should possess qualities such as perseverance, dedication, and flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Adapt teaching methodologies to cater to individual student needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree as a minimum educational qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. Master's or Ph.D. degree in a Linguistics-related field is an advantage.
• Understanding of the concept of tuition centers as an education and service-oriented industry, prioritizing individual student needs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and daytime during peak periods.

Work Schedule:

• Five or six working days per week, based on candidate availability.
• Operation hours: 09:00 to 20:00

Job Description

- Work with children aged 18 months to 6 years old

- Conduct lessons with children in accordance to company's and ECDA's policies, guidelines and framework

- Undertake operational and administrative duties for the centre to ensure compliance to industry regulations and smooth-running

- Create a safe and enriching learning environment for children

- Conduct routine care for children, keep accurate records of children's progress

- Evaluate lesson plans

- Communicate with parents on the progress of children development

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Fresh graduates are welcome

Your main job responsibility is to develop and plan early childhood programmes for the children in the centre:

Support the learning and development of infants and toddlers through interactive and stimulating experiences.

Responsible for implementing and execution of classroom and outdoor activities and ensuring a safe, conducive learning environment for the children.

Complete lesson evaluations / reflection. Communicate with families on their child's progress and development.

Maintain proper children's record and prepare child's portfolio for Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM).

Maintain record keeping for centre's operation purpose - audit, licensing, tracking, monitoring. Active participation and sharing of ideas, suggestions, learning, concerns and challenges during meetings.

Provide coverage duties for staff on leave and other adhoc duties. Plan and carry out events, excursions, workshops, collaborations with community etc.

Job Requirements:

Must have attained Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY). Registered with Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). Have a valid certificate in first aid recognised by ECDA. Preferably have infant care experience in a pre-school setting. Demonstrate good communication skills. Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research and practices possess classroom management skills and able to handle children's temperaments. Possess the necessary skills to plan, execute and evaluate appropriate developmental lessons.
