Job Overview:

Hardware Supply Chain Management team is overall responsible to fulfil end to end ordering process to external suppliers. The Supply Chain Management team will need to ensure “On Time Delivery” to meet requested schedule, expedite and escalate to Head of department whenever is needed.

Ensure all routes is compliance with export control rules and procedures.

Objectives:

Arrangement of smooth ordering process includes:

1. Coordinate with internal Sales Subsidiary on artwork / design base form is duly complete.

2. Global template on ordering process is fulfil

3. Purchase Order creation and Invoicing is done within timeframe.

4. Liaison with freight forwarder to ensure shipment to customers

Accountabilities:

1. Monitor supplier KPI (Key performance Indicator)

2. Manage internal transfer between different suppliers

3. Verify and approve specification and proofs.

Ensure monthly capacity fulfil and provide necessary production needs to supplier on timely basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate order demands by customer requested date, response within timeframe.

2. Work with Subcon Manager to ensure KPI meet.

3. Coordinate and monitor inventories level in suppliers site base on forecast figures.

4. Work with internal departments to ensure order is produce within specification and quality is meet expectation.

Education & Experience:

• Degree or Diploma with Supply Chain management experience or related field
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain function.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Fluent written and spoken English / Mandarin
• Preferably with SAP experience
• Knowledge in Incoterm

Key Responsibilities:

• Account Management: Assist in cloud service account openings and provide emergency account assistance.
• Customer Feedback: Collect and organize feedback on high-frequency issues.
• Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries and provide guidelines to distributors and dealers on app handling.
• Data Security: Maintain security of customer account information in compliance with the Data Protection and Privacy Act.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirement

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in automotive industry with mobile app / cloud computing/ database management experience.

Professional Competencies

Followings are required :

At sea experience :

• Officer of the Watch on OSV vessels during 2 years at least within the last 6 years, including Passage Planing preparations
• 2 years of offshore experience within a maritime company or major operator
• Able to monitor and advice on the performance of an OSV
• Practical use of weather routing softwares or services
• Rough seas navigation strong feedback
• English language: Excellent verbal understanding/ Good English writing

Tasks

Vessel routing and voyage optimization

• Collect all necessary data 72h- 24h before vessels departure (Tracking, SatComs, vessels Characteristics and Ops Constraints) in order to calculate the best routes and speeds thanks to Ascenz Marorka weather routing software
• Provide meteorological and oceanographical forecasts and observations data to vessels
• Advice captains for their Passage Planning, before departure and during Ocean crossing:
• Assist captain to connect on Ascenz Marorka website, and support for to set up calculation
• Input parameters according to captains wishes, when needed
• Monitor vessels safety when in Storms/ Tropical depressions
• Compare vessels routes in similar conditions
• Take care of Fuel Consumption during voyages, and take contact with captains to optimize their voyage budget
• Optimize all vessels routes, using the Ascenz Marorka weather routing software
• Take into account vessels observations, in order to be able to comment about Metocean forecasts
• Analyze forecasts and observations data/ measures, in order to establish post-voyage reports – Argue for claim management, when necessary
• Contribute to Ascenz Marorka software feedback and operational tasks, in order to improve processes

Vessel performance monitoring

• Monitor Vessel Performance: Oversee the performance of operational vessels and proactively provide alerts and guidance to clients (shipowners or charterers) in accordance with company guidelines and procedures : sensors deficiencies, fuel overconsumption, sub optimal activities
• Data Collection and model calibration:organize the collection of ships characteristics and historical data in order to calibrate performance models with the assistance of data scientists if needed.
• Client Communication: Inform clients about missing/late data, the quality of collected data, and any sensor failures to improve the overall dataset and ship models.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze real-time, periodic, and post-voyage performance, providing technical feedback to clients (ship owners or charterers) to optimize the vessel's environmental and economic performance.
• Coordinate Corrective Actions: Implement corrective actions for incorrect data, whether the issue is hardware or software-related.
• Reporting: Maintain up-to-date reports on the state of vessel performance data.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the technical performance of Vessels (Owned/Chartered In), ensuring vessels are maintained in optimal operational condition.
• Develop Plan maintenance system applicable to company vessels / barges
• Plan and execute routine maintenance and repair schedules.
• Monitor and liaise with Classification societies and flag states to ensure vessel certification and surveys are up-to-date.
• Adhere to the company Operations, Technical and HSQE policies and practices.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL etc.)
• Approve, co-ordinate and arrange supply of stores, spares and consumables, in accordance with Company’s SCM guidelines.
• Coordinate and control vessel’s budget relevant to Technical aspects.
• Able to attend vessel /barge drydocking in homebase and overseas
• Briefing of Shipboard Senior Officers prior to joining vessels with regards to Safety Management System as required, Technical Matters onboard, and specific charterers’ requirements.
• Conduct (independently) suitability surveys, on-hire surveys, off-hire surveys, bunker surveys and with knowledge of the requirements of most marine warranty surveys.
• Liaise with Marine Agents, Marine Warranty Surveyors, Classification Society Surveyors and Client Representatives.
• Closeout the MWS & Oil Major punch list with the most economical way.
• Maintain and upkeep technical Manuals, Drawings, Catalogues from makers and yards.
• • Supervise the outfitting of vessels. Prepare and transmit the Statement of Facts for the progress of the outfitting.
• Conduct fuel consumption analysis for vessels.
• Review and verify Critical spare onboard based on Vessel operation requirements.
• Assist Project Manager with the Mobilization of the 3rd party Vessel with crewing, ship Chandelling, Bunkering and Provision.
• Assist Project Manager with 3rd party vessel scope of Work in line with project requirement.
• Member of the shore Emergency Response Team for the relevant vessels.
• Assist in the identification of safety risk assessment and environmental aspects / impacts for vessel operations. Carry out audits and inspections as assigned.
• Be part of the incident investigation team providing technical assistance as and when required by the Board of Inquiry.
