Key Responsibilities

Vessel Technical Management

• Oversee the technical performance, maintenance, and repair of assigned IMO 2 vessels, ensuring smooth operations.
• Ensure vessels comply with all international regulations (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL), Flag State, and Class requirements.
• Work closely with vessel Masters and Chief Engineers to troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate technical reports and performance records for each vessel.
• Monitor and optimize Planned Maintenance System (PMS), ensuring regular servicing and updates.
• Conduct regular ship inspections and audits, providing recommendations for improvements.

Shipyard & Dry-Docking Operations

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure vessels meet ISM, ISPS, MLC, and other industry standards.
• Support and facilitate Class, Flag, and PSC inspections, ensuring compliance.
• Keep updated on new regulations and implement necessary technical modifications onboard.

Crew & Team Coordination

• Provide technical guidance and training to onboard engineers and technical staff.
• Liaise with internal teams (operations, crewing, and procurement) to ensure seamless vessel performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.

2. Prepare dry-dock specifications, evaluate quotations, and supervise the execution of repair work to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
3. Ensure timely completion of shipyard projects, adhering to budgets and company standards.
4. Carrying out a complete general inspection of the vessel and reporting with a observation list or defect list.
   

• Compliance & Regulatory

1. Ensure vessels are compliant with IMO, Class, Flag State, and Port State requirements, including safety and environmental standards.
2. Assist in audits, inspections, and surveys (internal and external) to maintain vessel certifications.

Job Description:

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

• Extensive experience managing and maintaining Active Directory, including Group Policy, user authentication, and permissions
• Great communication skills and stakeholder management
• Expertise in AD design, optimization, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments (e.g., installation, configuration, patch management).
• Hands-on experience with services like DNS, DHCP, IIS, and File/Print services.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience with network security principles, including intrusion detection/prevention, endpoint protection, and secure network design.
• Ability to design and implement robust, scalable IT systems. Experience with system integrations and high-availability solutions.
• Prefer experience managing and supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments, such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Microsoft AVD. Proficiency in virtual application deployment and management.
