Job Summary

The Technical Superintendent is responsible for the overall technical management of the tugboat assigned to him/her, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role involves overseeing vessel maintenance, repairs, inspections, and managing the shipboard technical teams to ensure the tugboats are maintained to the highest standards. The Technical Superintendent will work closely with the Operations team, HSEQ Team and Crewing team, and external service providers to ensure the fleet operates efficiently and meets regulatory requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure vessels comply with safety, environmental, maritime, and regulatory requirements, including class and flag state regulation & requirements. Oversee the daily operations of the tugboat fleet to ensure compliance with company standards.

• Carrying out repair maintenance and servicing of vessels to the instructions of the Technical Manager.

The Role

We are seeking an Investment Analyst based in Schonfeld Singapore office to provide integrated investment advice to Portfolio Manager. This person should be a team player with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency and high level of professionalism and familiar with investment markets.

What you’ll do

- Assist portfolio manager on investment research, financial statement analysis covering Asia Pacific including Japan region

- Ensure knowledge of entire investment solution suite, recommend investment solutions to Portfolio Manager;

- Prepare meeting materials; generate research materials – proprietary, economic commentary and Bloomberg etc. as needed

- Review exceptions and recommend strategy to resolve exceptions; and

- other tasks or projects as required.

What you’ll bring

What you need:

- A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in the role of investment industry (such as Investment banks, Hedge Fund or Private Equity)

- In-depth knowledge in investment with focus on Japan equity market is a must
