Inspect and do corrective action on the equipment

~ Preventive mantenance on all the equipment in the shop

~ Updating of preventive maintenance record (eg: checklist history card)

~ Minimize break down and down time of the equipment by problem identification

~ Installation of new equipment

~ Inspection for reliable operation

• Manage day-to-day technical operations, including attending daily toolbox meetings, compliance with WSHA.
• Respond to emergency fault calls during office hours/standby duties after office hours in rotating duty roster and ensure timely rectification of issues.
• Liase with users and authority to prepare and submit detailed work proposals for job requests.
• Prepare costing, condition assessment, and proposal for maintenance works.
• Responsible for inventory record, drawings, documentations and defect liability period registers.
• Compile and maintain service reports, licenses/certificates on site.
• Prepare and submit certificate of completion for maintenance works and services monthly, and prepare monthly claims.
• Supervise and follow up with sub-contractors to carry out corrective maintenance/adhoc works and to rectify defects reported by quality control/auality, assurance, auditor/users.
• Check and certify works done by sub-contractors.
• Perform any other technical tasks as and when required.

Requirements

1) Possess polytechnic or specialist diploma in Architectural Technology, BIM, or related field

4) Possess strong skillset in software for 2D and 3D drawing

5) Able to communicate at all organizational levels

• Supports the construction team for all design matters.
• Reviews all technical documentation and drawings of the Project works.
• Works closely with the Consultants on the designs and project deliverables to enhance site efficiency and constructability.
• Understands and familiar with Authority approval/clearance of works including URA, BCA, LTA, PUB, etc.
• Manages design approval process and coordinates with the Clients and Consultants in a timely manner to resolve all technical issues.
• Ensures strict compliance of the design in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Ensures the distribution of all the approved and latest drawings and other relevant documents to the relevant parties.
• Prepares shopdrawings with in-house BIM team and obtains approval in advance to site installation dates.
• Raises queries to Client or handles Client’s clarification on technical requirements pertaining to the Project works.
• Prepares and presents design progress status and slides to KTC management, project team and Client as and when required.
• Strong coordination and collaboration with other disciplines (i.e. Architectural, MEP, BIM, etc.) on design to ensure delivery of high quality outcome.
• Supports tender team and prepares technical tender documents as per specifications for bidding of civil and structural engineering projects as and when assigned.
• Attends Technical Meetings, Coordination Meeting, Site Meetings, etc as and when required.

• Ensuring Safety of the vessel and her crew always as a top priority.
• Manage technical requirements and operation of Offshore vessels such as DP2, DP3 Subsea Dive Support (DSV), PSV, AHTS, and other assets.
• Monitoring technical costs of managed vessels and ensuring follow-up of cost control with vessels Master and Chief Engineer.
• Monitoring of vessel visitations to ensure that vessels are inspected regularly.
• Ensuring that internal and external audit observations are agreed to and closed out within the agreed schedule.
• Developing programmes for continuous improvement and to ensure that Technical Management staff and the Vessel Engineers are kept aware of new or changing regulations and industry initiatives.
• Project Management, Plan, manage, monitor, and execute vessels repairs, dry docking, and conversions within agreed budgets.
• PIC for any client’s surveys, inspections including OVID, MWS, and coordinate with relevant departments to close out the findings in the punch list before mobilization.
• Responsible for preparing project execution plan, planning and schedules, project operations, reviewing and providing engineering and operational support during offshore operations.
• Work in partnership with HSE, Crewing and Marine colleagues towards OVMSA / TMSA compliance, Company Policies as well as related campaigns and initiatives.
• Manage the interface with the clients, intermediaries, ship owners and other stakeholders involved, ensuring active involvement, timely responses with a broader overview of actions, and its consequences.
• Manage vessel’s Class and certification requirements, inclusive of the renewal of certificates & support for vessel’s Flag and Class requirements.
• Ensure reporting monthly to clients on plans ahead for each vessel as well as review of monthly costs, monthly reports, PMS data etc. being communicated from the vessels, accordingly, prepare reports for the MD for his review.
• Approving orders, invoices, and payments up to limit of authorisation.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe, cost efficient and environmentally sound operation standard in compliance with the Company’s Quality Management System as well as the International Marine regulations, IMCA, and the vessels’ classification.
• Work with all teams for tender bids, submissions etc. as well as operating cost forecast.
• Support the team on emergency responses, clients interface, and with Incident accident investigations, High Potential Near Misses and Technical incidents.
• To maintain a high-quality technical and marine operations consistent with the Offshore Industry standards and guidelines.
• Additional works and tasks as advised by the Managing Director.

Requirements and Exeperience (Essential skills, qualifications, and experience):

• Previous experience in a Shipping and offshore marine operations related company is a must, preferably within a Ship Management organization.
• Prior experience either as a Technical Superintendent or a Vessel Manager for a minimum of 3 to 5 years managing offshore oil and gas assets such as Subsea, Offshore Construction, and OSVs. Having also interfaced or managed conventional vessels would be an added advantage.
• Having sailed as a Marine Engineering officer on offshore or conventional vessels, and should hold a MEO Class 1 or Class II Certificate of Competency as a minimum.
• Recognised marine qualification/experience either at sea or university or shore-based experience would be essential.
• Ability to communicate openly, efficiently, and effectively.
