JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibility of Singapore Securities Lending Team is to offer day to day support for Securities Lending Desk in Asia.

The team acts in partnership with a wide variety of groups across the firm globally with daily interaction with the wider Operations teams, Technology, Legal and Compliance. The team is heavily involved in business initiatives and process improvement to streamline our support model.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily Collateral Management with counterparties for any Mark-To-Market movements.
• Work with external vendors for all pre and post trade services.
• Interact with Demand and Supply Traders, Legal, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure that commercial opportunities can be facilitated under controlled conditions.
• Build, maintain and enhance client relationships with new and existing counterparts.
• Compile and analyze metrics to assess process efficiency & experience to identify and drive improvement.
• Work independently, or with team members and management, on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives to reduce risk and/or improve client service delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant trade processing or equities middle office experience
• Quick learner with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications

Responsibilities:

• Assist to manage financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate on annual business planning and growth strategies
• Analyze trends to reduce financial risks associated with making investment or spending decisions.
• Prepare management reports to facilitate decision making for business partners and other stakeholders
• Analyze and explain variances between actual and budgeted figures.
• Provide administrative support to the Singapore sales team, including customer claims and vendor invoices processing
• Monitor Account Receivables status and prepare AR ageing report
• Check and verify accuracy of collection and payment from customers
• Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement and implement best practices and innovative tools to improve data analysis and reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in relevant disciplines such as Accountancy, Business
• No experience required, but candidates with at least 2 years of relevant working experience, inclusive of strong hands-on accounting/audit/ fp&a experience are preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Powerpoint
• Experience in JDE system and Oracle HFM system will be an advantage
• Organised and detail-oriented in work with good documentation
• Motivated and pro-active with optimistic about challenges
