RESPONSIBILITIES

The Engineer shall be rotated to the following areas:

• Media Contribution Delivery (MCD) to support the design, installation and maintenance of allocated parts of the organisation's linear and non-linear media equipment and infrastructure
• Headend & Distribution to support the design, installation and maintenance of allocated parts of the organisation's headend and distribution equipment and infrastructure

The Engineer is expected:

1. Media Contribution & Delivery (MCD):

• To assist in delivering Contribution and Distribution infrastructure projects, including maintenance, on Satellite uplink/downlink equipment and infrastructure as per technical instructions, standard procedures and learning on-the-job in a project environment
• To perform allocated tasks in the areas of satellite and Contribution & Distribution operations e.g. to monitor the performance of satellite uplink/downlink & contribution/distribution systems and processes and communicates any issues for troubleshooting
• To maintain satellite & contribution/distribution service logs for compliance purposes. The work involves the constant monitoring of systems over long shifts and periods
• To report any anomalies or system faults immediately once detected

2. Headend & Distribution (H&D):

• To assist in delivering headend and distribution infrastructure projects, including maintenance on, Mux system, Microwave link, fibre link and IPTV system as per technical instructions, standard procedures and learning on-the-job in a project environment

To support AML Projects for Singapore and Regional entities

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end projects for system implementation of Detica KYC and system integration with other AML systems
• Lead pre-project planning activities for technical delivery and contribute to architecture and functional specification, delivery plan, technical design, cost estimation, and resource plan
• Communicate complex technical solution to other GTO teams and business users in layman’s terms
• Coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure non-event production cutover and adequate post implementation support
• Engage and collaborate with Architects, Security and Development Lead to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards
• Plan technical deliverables, perform design and development works to meet project’s requirements within schedule

• Liaise with other application teams and business users to prepare test cases and test data prior to testing in UAT and Mock Run environment
• Manage project change request approval windows and deployment schedule
• Facilitate and provide technical and testing support before and after production deployment
• Liaise with other units across IT and Business in the organization
• Manage external vendors for project delivery within schedule

Key Requirements

• More than 10 years assuming role in technical delivery management – must be technical, not program level management
