Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Pharmaceuticals industry. They are looking for an E&I Engineer to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the West – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the various activities including setup, adjustments, instrument operations, and systems
- Participate in the various project executions, overseeing the equipment installation/enhancements, as well as acquiring the necessary resources and manpower
- Coordinate/Manage the required on-site calibration procedures in alignment with the company’s guidelines
- Supervise the utilization/maintenance of the company’s precision measuring instruments
- Assist in the planning of regular maintenance schedules for the company’s production equipment
- Develop strategies/procedures for equipment maintenance/reliability, implementing/establishing efficient preventive maintenance protocols
- Analyze equipment breakdowns, and identify the issues and lead time required for equipment repairs
- Collaborate with the company’s various engineers to enhance equipment performance, and extend its operational lifecycle
- Maintain control over the company’s maintenance expenditure
- Provide training/guidance to technicians on equipment operation principles and maintenance practices
- Assist with the company’s automation initiatives, such as continuous line operations and problem resolution
- Evaluate and approve the various calibration specifications in line with the product/process requirements
- Ensure the resolution of various calibration-related inquiries, and implement the necessary corrective/preventive solutions
- Generate various SOPs for instrument calibration, and implement the necessary maintenance plans to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Review root cause analysis findings/reports for significant equipment failures, and develop potential countermeasures when necessary
- Approve the necessary/recommended repair and maintenance activities for equipment/system malfunctions
- Enhance the functionality and operations of the company’s equipment and system elements
- Manage/Oversee the various contractual agreements with external service providers
- All other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or other relevant field of studies
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the relevant industries (eg. Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas etc.)
