Responsibilities

• Perform operation, installation, and monitoring of big data platforms

• Ensure the reliability and normal operation of multiple core systems for big data and online computing, resolving issues within the agreed SLA

• Evaluate infrastructure requirements for deployments and upgrade activities

• Develop and maintain technical documentations related to design, configuration, troubleshooting, backup, DR, etc

• Ensures deployment and operations of the data platform comply with prevailing regulations and audit requirements

• Provide recommendations on data governance practices and in-depth optimizations best practices

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or related

• Minimally 4 years of experience in Data Engineering

• Solid computer software basic knowledge; understand Linux operating system, storage, network IO and other related principles Familiar with one or more programming languages, such as Python/Go/Java/Shell/Ansible

• Extensive experience with Cloudera Data Platform and its runtime components

• Relevant computing/distributed/big data system experience (Hadoop/HDFS/Nginx/Kubernetes/Docker/OpenStack/Hadoop/Spark/Flink,etc.)

• Good data structure and system design skills highly preferred

• Good knowledge of information security highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Quality and Validation Manager Asia to complete the tasks on time with good quality.
• Responsible for the successful execution of the Validation functions for customer projects, as required – Quality, Cost, and Time.
• Responsible for driving and supporting the project team for projects where validation is required and ensuring execution complies with company's standards.
• Provide training on qualification activities.
• Responsible for maintaining qualification documentation standards and procedures.
• Create and maintain qualification/validation documentation from the design phase of projects for mechanical, software, and hardware parts.
• Lead the qualification/validation activities of projects (risk analysis, protocol drafting, and test execution during FAT/SAT) internally and at our partners' sites (approximately 20% of the time on travel throughout the year).
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for projects detail design, prototype, commissioning and testing completed systems

Liaise with Customer and internal team members to ensure good co-ordination, planning and meeting project schedule

Responsible for integration of both hardware & software work as well as implementation

Carry out proper execution of the integration/engineering/maintenance work and QA Technical checks throughout project execution

Handle application programme change management, hardware deployment management & documentation

Interface with SCADA & PLC programming

Meeting with clients, reports and documentation

Capable of performing troubleshooting independently

Qualifications:

At least Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or related discipline

With at least 1-2 years of experience in PLC/SCADA

Able to work under pressure, multi task and good coordination of tasks

Able to perform standby duties
