As a Software Engineer, you will be working with a multidisciplinary team of software, computer, mechanical, electronics and communications engineers.

Our Software Engineers shall develop software that breathes intelligence into our underwater robotic systems. We strive to make our systems smarter and easier to operate, collaborating seamlessly with other systems to meet the mission requirements.

You will be involved in one or more of the following activities in a software development life cycle:

• Be part of a dynamic team to elicit system requirements and develop software specifications, based on mission and users’ needs
• Design software architecture that are resilient, safe and secured
• Write robust code to implement software requirements and design tests cases
• Build up test environment and simulators for hardware and software verifications
• Collaborate with the team to carry out integration tests with the hardware platform in the lab / field / sea trials
• Short term travel overseas for trials may be required in certain job posts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience in C / C++ / C# / Java / Python programming and Object-Oriented Analysis & Design would be advantageous
• Passion to write code and participate in field trials to see the code in action

• Design the power supply system according to P&ID, equipment list and instrument list to meet the requirement of specification
• Calculate and select equipment, component, cable and wire to meet the requirement of specification
• Develop cost estimates for electrical products and electrical works, inclusion of scheduling electrical works.
• Integrate with plant design engineer to develop electrical equipment and cable/ wire layout
• Discuss and develop the control system with sub-contractor based on internal design data, e.g. P&ID and control logic
• Perform installation and testing and commissioning of electrical system.
• Work on site and with clients and other stakeholders.
• Project coordination, ensure project is on schedule and is running smoothly.
• Handles technical matter on the site.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Diploma / Degree in electrical engineering or any other equivalent
• 2 Years of relevant working experience
• Good understanding on Singapore electrical codes and requirements
• Familiar with PLC (Siemens, AB, Mitsubishi, etc.)
• Familiar with the electrical construction specification requirements and safety specification requirements on the project site
• Understand the knowledge of power supply and distribution
• Able to discuss electrical technology with customers or contractors independently
• Experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft office software will be added advantages

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in daily site operation.

• Prepare Daily Report and submission.

• Prepare work Inspection Checklist and submission.

• Prepare materials request and arrange for delivery.

• Prepare request for fabrication.

• Receive and verify materials delivered and record GDN and DO.

• Update drawings and drawing register, receipt and issue of drawings.

• Ensure all documented records are properly filed.

• Organize the project site and other places of work so that all operations are carried out to the required standards with the minimum of risk to men, equipment and materials.

• Plan and maintain a tidy construction site.

• Arrange the delivery and stacking of material in such a manner as to avoid increasing the risks involved by double handling.

• Implement arrangements with sub-contractors and other contractors on the project site to avoid any confusion about areas of responsibility.

• Ensure that periodic tests, inspections and maintenance work are being carried out.

• Ensure that all repair and maintenance work carried out on the project site is done in a proper manner.

• Ensure that correct procedures and system of work are being developed and maintained.

• Attend promptly to all notified plant defects or bring to the attention of the relevant Foreman the need for Dangerous plant to be put out of service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent

• Minimum 4 years of site experience in construction field is preferred.

• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.

Resident Engineer (RE-C&S)

a. Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a Civil & Structural Engineer, with at least 5 years in supervising works on projects of similar size and complexity, particularly major building construction and deep excavation works.

b. Qualifications:
Must possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.

c. Accreditation:
Accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.

d. Responsibilities:

• Lead the C&S site staff to monitor, supervise, and inspect works as directed by CAG, QP(S), QP(Geo), project consultants.
• Exhibit strong leadership qualities, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills.

e. Knowledge:

• Be conversant with statutory codes and site supervision requirements, quality control procedures, construction administration, and submission of progress reports.

f. Skills:

• Demonstrate strong supervision and leadership abilities.

g. Flexibility:

• Must be willing to work shifts.
