Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design and develop semiconductor backend machines.
• Responsible for Continuous Improvement Programme (CIP) and engineering field support.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
• 1-5 years relevant experience in automation or semiconductor machines.
• Proficient in any 3D design software eg Pro-E, Autocad, Solidworks etc
• Knowledge in FMEA, GD&T, pick & place equipment/ loader is an added advantage
• A good team player with good interpersonal communication skills

POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Expertise in ATM and financial industry and handling multiple banking customers.

• Responsible for the implementation of a solution or parts of a solution to meet the stated specifications and architecture; Performs software design, programming, testing, support, and documentation of their software to the agreed standards and quality guidelines and under the relevant processes
• Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections; validate software design and solution to the project requirements
• Focuses on activities such as evaluating, designing, constructing, integrating, unit testing, trouble-shooting and supporting software solutions based on business and operational requirements in a variety of customer-facing and internal business scenarios
• Conducting unit tests, tracking problems, and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional requirements; Responsible for diagnosing, isolating, and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code, using knowledge of system characteristics and utilizing software-based system maintenance and tracking tools

Job Description

• Position Title: QC Engineer
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $3,200 + Transportation Allowance + AWS + VB (Up to 4 months)

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the section manager and HOD
• Shall ensure that all supervisor(s) and technician(s) complete their testing and allocated work in a timely manner
• Shall conduct all laboratory tests, measurement and analysis when necessary and perform checks to ensure method accuracy for the measurement and analysis
• Shall ensure that GR&R is performed for the instruments and records are maintained
• Shall perform troubleshooting of instruments and facilities when there is any breakdown and ensure all maintenance and calibration is performed as scheduled and ensure reports are written
• Shall perform validation and commissioning of new instruments and methods and maintain records of validation and commissioning
• Shall assist in technical evaluations in accordance with direction given after discussion
• Shall participate in customer complaints investigation (for analysis related complaints)
• Shall troubleshoot quality issues (within department - both sections)
• Shall maintain and update the inventory record of all instruments/facilities parts (liaise with vendor for quotation) and ensure proper records and inventory level are maintained
• Shall monitor (and prepare reports) on QC instruments/facilities and EHS performance through statistical reports and initiate continuous improvement projects (including operation-related)
• Shall participate in audits (internal and external)
• Shall assist the senior engineer and QC section manager in the design of laboratory facilities / laboratory expansion
• Shall ensure area housekeeping is done at all work areas
• Shall promote and participate in QEHS activities and ensure that all procedures are strictly adhered to by the supervisors and technicians in all aspects of the activities
• Shall understand Risk Management and ensure that the risks identified and the control measures are communicated to the supervisors and technicians
• Shall actively participate in all quality / environmental, health and safety programs conducted by the company
• Performs any other tasks as instructed by the senior engineer, QC section manager and HOD
