The Cloud Software Engineer must be able to work effectively in a collaborative, fast paced environment providing experience on energy storage systems. They will demonstrate strong project management, development, and execution capabilities. The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker, fast-learner, collaborative worker, and self-starter with a passion for the renewable energy industry holding a track record of success thriving in a high growth environment.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and Collaborate on IoT products and solution in cloud based IoT Platform by interfacing Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Battery Management System (BMS).

· Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance of IoT Cloud Software stack in Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Battery Management System (BMS).

· You should be familiar with the operation of ESS (Energy Storage Systems) and implement various energy and battery management graphs and data display and will need to have passion for battery and energy management solutions.

· You should follow software development lifecycle practices including design and reviews, testing and regression, revision control, and user documentation.

Requirements:

· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in computer/electronics engineering or relevant discipline with minimum 2 years of relevant professional development experience.

· Must have software development experience in C/C++, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, JSON and SQL or other relevant programming languages.

· Experience with IOT cloud technology, instrumental monitoring, remote monitoring and IoT Device knowledge (Gateway, Sensor).

· You should have knowledge of communication interfaces and protocols, such as RS232, RS485, CAN, Modbus-TCP, Modbus-RTU, etc.

· Familiar in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

· You will be required to travel for business.

· Knowledge on battery technology would be ideal

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of mechanical research and development from concepts through to mass production.
• Design innovative and robust mechanisms to achieve the desired outcome of product requirements.
• Translating product specifications into designs optimized for DFM and DF
• Creating 3D designs in CAD and 2D drawings according to the Secretlab standard
• Perform hands on Prototyping to create proof of concept for functional and aesthetic validation.
• Performing risk mitigation actions like DFMEA, Design of Experiment, Finite Element Analysis, GD&T and tolerance stacking.
• Prepare administrative works and documentation for any design deliverables needed in the projects.
• A Go-To-Person to troubleshoot any design issue across projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering and design works for consumer hardware products in a fast paced environment.
• High level of proficiency in creating 3D CAD and 2D drawin
• Ability to use design tools such as DFMEA, DoE, FEA, GD&T and tolerance stack in their daily work to verify their design.
• Experience working with various materials like plastic, metal, rubber, and foam, as well as understanding their manufacturing methods/limitations.
• Ability to clearly present ideas to stakeholders using various methods.
• Ability to communicate with vendors in design discussions.

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer / Researcher who will assist the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models to power our recommendation system and search engine.
