JOB SCOPE

• Responsible for executing the company projects in building construction which covers.
• To review project specifications and technical clarifications
• To prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies
• To carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
• To supervise the construction works and coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
• To target and ensure timely and smooth progress of works
• To ensure quality of works is achieved and safety & environmental regulations are complied with
• To ensure project activities complied with the Company’s ISO system

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by the respective Professional Bodies, professional institutions or BCA
• Minimum 5 years working experience in building construction
• Use of Autocad would be an advantage
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and familiar with Microsoft Project
• Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork

Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Testings & Quality Assurance: Assist in the integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT) & implementation activities to fix the reported problems/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in the production environment.
• System Analysis: Analyze system requirements and contribute to development. Participate in requirements gathering; work with Business Analysts in reviewing and refining functional specifications.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Issue Resolution: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
• Planning & Support: Provide support during sprint planning and production planning. Work closely with various application teams to support different types of releases.
• Release Management: Assist with paperwork and processes related to software releases.
• Automation & Stabilization: Offer solutions to improve and stabilize automation efforts, reducing manual work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering related studies.
• At least 7 years of experience in coding and software development & support using Java/.NET/C++/Python, and jQuery, Angular and Bootstrap.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, users and vendors.
• Core Java & Frameworks: Core Java, with a focus on Java 8 or later versions. Experience with Java 17 is a plus.
• .NET framework: C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework
• Experience in web application development using modern languages e.g. Golang, TypeScript is advantageous.
• Linux Proficiency: Strong command of basic Linux commands and shell scripting; comfortable working in a Linux environment.
• Memory Management: Clear understanding of Java memory management, including garbage collection and memory allocation.
• Multithreading & Concurrency: In-depth knowledge of multithreading and concurrency concepts, including the use of volatile and Atomic classes.
• Data Structures: Well-versed in data structures
• Database Expertise: Deep knowledge in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as MSSQL, Oracle and SQL language (coding).
• Experience with cloud platforms e.g. Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure etc.
• Migration Experience: Hands-on experience migrating from Spring to Spring Boot, and/or ASP.NET to ASP.NET Core.
• CI/CD Tools: Familiar with Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Project Management Tools: Well-versed with JIRA.
• Enhancements & Migrations: Experienced in handling enhancements and migrations.
