Key Responsibilities

• Inspection and supervision of Archi work, including but not limited to ALC wall & drywall, off-site precast toilet units, off-site precast façade panels factory, epoxy flooring, vinyl flooring, carpet flooring, plastering, painting, raised floor system, ceiling, screeding, tiling, waterproofing, room handover, defects, auto-door testing, lift interior, & resolving conflicts between Architectural, Structural & M&E works.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Resident Technical Officer (Mechanical & Electrical) to join our team in Singapore, Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of the mechanical and electrical systems of our project:

• Good co-ordination skills and good technical knowledge of M&E systems/ equipment, including security systems
• To carry out regular site supervision and inspection of the works/materials including any off-site production as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that mechanical and electrical works, including security systems, are constructed to required quality, accuracy and workmanship
• To monitor work in progress in accordance to Approved Master Schedules with breakdown to Monthly, Weekly and Daily programmes
• To assist the RE on daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress as per contractor’s approved program, activities, issues and resolutions
• To check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as built quantity for the variations
• To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the SO and RE.

Position Overview:

– Responsible for planning, engineering, and managing maintenance operations for Gas and Ethylene Fleet.

– Overseeing vessel and crew performance to ensure compliance with safety protocols

Requirements:

– Ship Engineer holding a Class 1 COC or Class 2 COC with 2-3 years of sailing experience on Gas or Ethylene Carriers

– Previous experience in a Shipyard or Ship Management Company is advantageous

– In-depth knowledge of I.S.M code, Class regulations, and other compliance matters

– Collaborative team player with strong initiative, a sense of responsibility, and a readiness to travel
