Key Responsibilities

Vessel Technical Management

• Oversee the technical performance, maintenance, and repair of assigned IMO 2 vessels, ensuring smooth operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitors and controls the safe and cost efficient technical operation of all assigned vessels using the available resources, within the defined parameters of cost, commercial viability and operational excellence in line with Owners expectations. Ensure environmental compliance policies are upheld.

Ship technical support

• Understands the contractual agreements with customers to be able to deliver the same with regards to the ship management services for each assigned vessel, in a safe and cost efficient manner.
• Monitors the effective operation of the equipment and machineries of the assigned vessels, identifying potential discrepancies from operational standards and proposes and/or implements solutions that will enhance the efficiency, performance and safety of the vessels.
• Participates in the development of the maintenance and repairs plan for the assigned vessels and monitors its accurate execution in order to identify compliance of operations according to time schedule, quality of deliverables and budget.
• Projects the requirements in maintenance and repairs activities, spare parts and technical training of the assigned vessels in order to provide valuable information for the development of the budget and maintenance plan of the vessels. Job Summary

Working in the COO Office, the ideal candidate will support the management of the cadence, systems, and metrics that drive operational excellence for the Global Operations organization, also including managing and keeping track of the status of the operational risks within GF Operations. In addition to this, the candidate will be expected to support the execution of selected engagements within the COO scope, accelerating deliverable releases and promptly communicating results to the Senior Executives. Your Job

1. Management of Strategic Priorities:

• Collaborate closely with the COO and the operations leadership team in developing, refining, and managing strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Stand up and manage robust program management office (PMO) capabilities (frameworks, process, tools, people) to ensure delivery of core, multi-year priorities for Operations group.
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the effectiveness of operational strategies.
• Synthesize complex data and information from various projects to provide insights that enhance decision-making processes for COO and direct reports.
• Identify areas to streamline existing processes and workflows through global standards, identifying areas for opportunity with global working teams.

3. Management of specific engagements with Operations:

• Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations.
• Synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Monitor financial performance against targets, leveraging analytical and financial acumen to identify and drive continuous improvements in cost reduction.
• Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people and organizations to act.
• Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner.

Required Qualifications

• Education/Experience – BS + 5yrs of experience; MS + 2yrs of experience; PhD + 1yr of experience
• Experience in operations management, strategic planning, or related roles in a global manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Previous experience in Management Consulting (preferred).
• Demonstrated expertise in synthesizing complex information and communicating it effectively across diverse stakeholders.

• Organize material through Operations Trainers and complete technical writing assignment (Operating Manual and Procedures) with focus on order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Coordinate with Operations Trainers and other stakeholders to establish technical content and update relevant document through Operations Trainer guidance.
• Edit, standardize, or make changes to document material as instructed by Operations Trainers.
• Support Operations Trainer in the draft, review, validate, approval and publishing documents through SharePoint work flow and other Procedure databases.
• Execute Document Review process through Operations Trainer guidance - Publish materials (Available in SharePoint) and execute revisions or changes in scope, format, and content according to Electronic Operating Manuals (EOM) Standards and Procedure Standards.
• Maintain records, files of work and revisions of all documents in Procedure databases
• Need to work with photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.
• Draw sketches using Microsoft Visio to illustrate specified materials or valve line-up sequence.

Job Requirements:

• 3 years or more experience in a Technical Writer role or Ability to prove Technical Writing skills in Oil and Gas industry sector.
