ARC Tier 1 is required to work in a secure ARC environment. ARC is a type of call center that specializes in providing technical support or customer service for complex products or services. ARC Tier 1 is responsible for provide first level technical support to customers. ARC Tier 1 will work closely with ARC Tier 2, Team Leads & Technical Support Engineers to achieve this purpose. ARC Tier 1 is the first line of technical support. This team is responsible for basic customer issues/enquiries/request/alert. It is the same as 1st Level support which provide basic technical or non- technical support functions.

ACR Tier 1 functions and responsibilities (not limited)

· Respond to the incoming enquiries/incident/request/alerts (Call, Email, Webchat, EUP, IVR handling, Monitoring consoles)

• Knowledge in precision machine design, CFD or thermal modeling tools is a plus

Job Description:

1. Oversees projects management and implementation;
2. Codify implementation design into documented for end user's record;
3. Conduct training and presentation for team members and end-users;
4. Provide technical testing or support to pre-sales engineer/customer on the network setup;
5. Assist on technical communications with customer/partner, to ensure closure of sales order;
6. Ensuring that the solution can deliver on the customer’s requirements;
7. Work closely with Level 2 support, if case issue is escalated to Level 3;
8. Maintain rapport with customers and competence in managing vendors; and
9. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Degree/Diploma in IT Networking or equivalent
• At least 2 years of work experience in a SI or distributor environment with network security skillset
• Good IT knowledge in OSI 7 Layer, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies and network security
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Excellent in communication and analytical skill
• Experience in network security projects implementation
• Positive working attitude and a good team player
• Willing to work extended office hours and after office hours when needed
• Exposure to security solution such as Firewall, local balancer or endpoint protection will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

· Perform start up and commissioning , audit & installation checks on engine & its

related system.

· Troubleshoot electrical and electronic related problem on engine & attachments.

· Conduct failure analysis on electrical components and prepare written report.

· Co-ordinate activities with vendors/ contractors.

· Provide technical support to customer on engine electrical/electronic related

issues, recommend repairs and provide solution.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Marine / Electrical Engineering

· 3 -5 years working experience in the marine, automation or power generation

industry or 5 years’ working experience with Nitec or Higher Nitec in Marine/Electrical Engineering holder

· Knowledge of power generation, generators synchronize and control, marine

propulsion system, shut down / alarm devices on engine.

· Experience in equipment / engine testing & troubleshooting.

· Shipyard working experience / sea going experience will be an added advantage.
