• Ensure all projects, preventive maintenance works and SOPs are carried out timely and according to planned schedule as per the agreed Response, Delivery and Completion Time as stated in this Contract.
• Support and assist in all projects (install, resolve, repair, trouble-shoot) related to Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Lift & Escalator, ACMV, BMS, Audio Visual and Facilities Management
• Attend to site show rounds
• Ensure that all his technical team and direct contractor appointed by the client or Contractor’s subcontractors follow the QEHS ISO requirements and Statutory Requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management or equivalent with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Lift & Escalator, ACMV and/or BMS or its equivalent;
• Higher Nitec or Nitec in Engineering, Facilities Management or equivalent with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Lift & Escalator, ACMV and/or BMS or its equivalent;
• For electrician and plumber, the tradesmen shall hold the relevant license to practice. If not, the Contractor shall engage part-time licensed electrical worker or plumber;
• Self-motivated with good written and communication skills and computer literate. All technicians shall have general competency in the use of Outlook emails and the following application software; MS office, especially MS Outlook express, Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), MS Word and MS Power point.
• Meticulous and a good team player and ability to manage a team of technicians.

• Manage day-to-day technical operations, including attending daily toolbox meetings, compliance with WSHA.
• Respond to emergency fault calls during office hours/standby duties after office hours in rotating duty roster and ensure timely rectification of issues.
• Liase with users and authority to prepare and submit detailed work proposals for job requests.
• Prepare costing, condition assessment, and proposal for maintenance works.
• Responsible for inventory record, drawings, documentations and defect liability period registers.
• Compile and maintain service reports, licenses/certificates on site.
• Prepare and submit certificate of completion for maintenance works and services monthly, and prepare monthly claims.
• Supervise and follow up with sub-contractors to carry out corrective maintenance/adhoc works and to rectify defects reported by quality control/auality, assurance, auditor/users.
• Check and certify works done by sub-contractors.
• Perform any other technical tasks as and when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Serve as the technical expert for detailed design and construction aspects of the project

· Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the internal team members, client, consulting engineers and contractors

· Perform expediting actions in sourcing technical information, submission of data/method statement for installation, delivery and transport of materials/equipment, storage and issuance for site installation works

· Prepare detailed installation plans, methodology, processes and procedures for support of construction team

· Propose and oversee timelines for engineering proposals and submissions are met

· Check and confirm the accuracy of submissions from contractors, vendors and suppliers for the work to be performed, coordinate and ensure approvals are received from client in timely manner

· Set up procedure and processes in monitoring and tracking of engineering related documentation throughout project lifestyle

· Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors

· Prepare and deliver various installation/erection or construction related presentations, both internally and externally

• Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Registered Professional Engineer with Singapore Professional Engineers Board is preferred
