Working Conditions:

• Willing to work rotating shift (including weekends & Public Holidays).
• Working schedules: 6-days, 44-hrs work week.
• This position may require occasional work outside of normal business hours for emergency repairs or project deadlines.
• Occasional physical labor may be required for inspections and hands-on maintenance.

Reports directly to the Managing Director. You are to serve as Qualified Person and manage a team of engineers to ensure safe structural design and excellent delivery of service to clients.

• Responsible for the profitability and cost efficiency of your team
• Project coordination/management
• Lead projects and attend meetings
• Supervise and inspect construction works.
• Managing and supervising technical/site staff and administrative functions of the projects.
• Provide guidance and manage engineers in the team to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of service.
• Check critical design calculations and specifications of the project prior to approving all C&S related documents and drawings produced in the projects prior to submission to regulatory authorities.
• Able to be hands-on to carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works
• Able to be hands-on in preparing design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions;
• Able to coordinate with various stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and contractors for projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or its equivalent
• Local design experience in C&S engineering work & conversant with Singapore Building Codes and Practices
• Familiarity with engineering software (e.g. Tedds, StaadPro, Prota, Etab) and submission procedures to regulatory authorities
• Strong report writing skills to prepare and furnish reports

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage repair and maintenance operations for various pump systems, including [list types of pumps, e.g., centrifugal, submersible, or rotary pumps].
• Lead and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical or hydraulic issues in pump systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Ensure all repair and service activities comply with safety and industry standards.
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Oversee inventory management for spare parts and repair tools.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project timelines for clients.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to source quality materials and equipment.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in pump repair and maintenance, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of [hydraulic principles, pump mechanics, fluid dynamics, etc.].
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software related to pump systems.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers in industries such as petrochemical, pharmaceutical, aviation, and OEM.
• Interpret customer requirements, read drawings, and generate bills of materials.
• Develop and present sales proposals, negotiate with end users, and close orders.
• Procure materials, parts, and services while managing logistics.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications to meet customer needs.

Requirements:

• Diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in technical sales or a related field.
• Experience with ASME, DIN, JIS standards or plant maintenance/engineering roles is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Excel with a strong desire to improve sales and business margins.
