• Reviews all technical documentation and drawings of the Project works
• Works closely with the appointed Consultants and construction team on designs and project deliverables to enhance site efficiency and constructability
• Leads on the design approval from the Authority/Agency including URA,BCA,LTA,PUB etc for the Project works
• Manages design approval process in a timely manner to resolve all technical issues
• Ensures strict compliance of the design in accordance with the contractual requirements
• Ensures the distribution of all the approved and latest drawings and other relevant documents to the relevant parties
• Leads the technical team to work closely with in-house BIM team and resolves all clarifications on technical requirements pertaining to the Project works
• Identifies and highlights to Management and project team of any potential risks or issues that will impact Project performance
• Prepares and presents design progress status and slides to Management, project team and Client as and when required.
• Strong coordination and collaboration with other disciplines (i.e Architectural, MEP, BIM etc.) on design to ensure delivery of high quality outcome
• Supports tender team and prepares technical tender documents as per specifications for bidding of civil and structural engineering projects as and when assigned
• Attends Progress Meeting, Technical Meetings, Coordination Meetings, Site Meetings, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possesses Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Profressional Engineering Board
• At least 8-12 years of design experience or design management experiece.

Requirements:

• Minimum 19 years hands-on design experience in building and/or infrastructure projects

• Familiar with local code and authority submission procedures
• Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Registered Professional Engineer with Singapore Professional Engineers Board is preferred

Pre-Production

• Assist to assemble the Technical Production Team for the Exhibition;
• Manage the Exhibition’s technical contractors;
• Work with the Logistics Team to manage the delivery / shipping of the Exhibition’s technical and scenic elements (collectively, the “Technical & Scenic Elements”) from multiple global locations;
• Collaborate with the Exhibition’s Design Team to ensure desired look and feel, as well as durability, are met;
• Cooperate and work with each of the Exhibition’s Technical, Production and Scenic Teams to ensure that the Technical & Scenic Elements are properly integrated.
• Assist to determine the Exhibition’s rigging specifications and subsequently, and to manage the Exhibition’s rigging process;
• Cooperate and work with the Exhibition’s technical teams to determine and source technical hardware and equipment required for the Exhibition;
• Participate in the development of the production schedule for the Exhibition, which shall include, but not be limited to, an on-site daily schedule, a build schedule, and a creative and production preproduction schedule;
• If needed and as required , maintain regular communication with, as well as making visits to, fabrication shops to ensure that quality control and the Exhibition’s creative vision is achieved;
• Liaise with the Exhibition’s Venue (the “Venue”) Team to ensure that the Venue is in a ready state for the purposes of the Exhibition; and
• Liaise with and provide weekly reports to the Exhibition’s Senior Production Manager.

Install

• Lead and manage the installation of the Technical & Scenic Elements;
• Cooperate and work with each of the Exhibition’s Technical, Production and Creative Teams to ensure a smooth installation process; address and resolve any and all on-site issues;
• Manage daily site schedules and movements during the Installation Phase;
• Manage the on-site crew (which shall include, but not be limited to, scheduling); and
• Ensure the timely and safe delivery of the Technical & Scenic Elements to the Venue.

Health & Safety and Compliance

• Advise on event safety for the Exhibition;
• Review the Exhibition’s emergency support functions (ESF) and advise accordingly;
• Generate and provide an event safety plan for the Installation Phase;
• Cooperate and work with the Exhibition’s Production Team to ensure that construction during the Exhibition’s installation phase adheres to applicable laws and regulations (including, but not limited to, health and safety regulations, fire safety regulations);
• Cooperate and work with on-site team at the Venue to ensure applicable health and safety laws and regulations are understood and adhered to by the Exhibition’s contractors; and
• Ensure that the on-site team at the Venue is working in a safe manner during the Exhibition’s installation phase.

Documentation and Final Walkthrough

• Provide support in respect of the aforesaid Services and Deliverables after the opening of the Exhibition, as needed and as required;
• Provide all documentation relating to the Final Walkthrough of the Exhibition

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and test smart meters at customer premises according to industry standards and company procedures.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to smart meter functionality, communication, and data transmission.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring safe working practices in all tasks.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, explaining procedures and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections. Complete and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced technicians when needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications in electrical, electronics, or telecommunications are a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in utility metering, electrical installations, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of smart metering systems, data communication protocols, and utility networks.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors, lift heavy equipment, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license. Industry-specific certifications are advantageous.
