Interpret technical designs and drawings

Manage M&E works to meet project specifications, budgets and timeline

Prepare reports to clients and project manager on progress, delays, defects and rectification measures for the M&E works

Provide technical advice and resolve M&E technical issues on site

Supervise M&E works (e.g. installation of green building technologies, lighting, air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation) in the construction project

Plan, design and administer contract/project of mechanical and electrical engineering works for building services.
Prepare tender specifications and review tender drawings
Perform tender evaluations and prepare tender evaluation reports
Attend technical and progress meetings with client, architects, consultants and contractors
Manage the projects and identify any non-conformity of contractor’s work at site
Other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirments :

• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Relevant working experience in an M&E Consulting firm is an added advantage.

• Knowledge in design and building project and relevant code of practice.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/ BIM software is an added advantage.

• Able to work as a team, assertive, independent and proactive.

• Must have successfully started Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional & Recreational projects

• Qualified for registration in Professional Engineers Board, Singapore will be an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Digitalization Solution Planning: Develop comprehensive design proposals and system plans tailored to the specific needs of each operational unit. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify requirements and design effective solutions that align with organizational goals.

• User Requirement Analysis: Evaluate digitalization projects and clarify user requirements through in-depth analysis and collaboration with users and IT project teams. Ensure that solutions meet user needs and enhance operational efficiency.

• Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress at various stages, ensuring timelines are met and milestones achieved. Control team progress and overall process efficiency to drive successful project outcomes.

• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Coordinate project operations across departments, fostering collaboration and synergy among diverse teams. Assess actual resource allocations and optimize resource utilization for project success.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues affecting project delivery. Implement quality control measures and propose mitigation plans and solutions to address challenges proactively, ensuring project success and minimizing disruptions.

• Communication and Documentation: Prepare presentations and documents for project progress reports and relevant meetings. Communicate project updates, milestones, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in digitalization or system implementation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Provide pre and post-sales support to customers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Min 2 years of sales experience in the power generation industry. (Related fields like Generator packager, Generator controls, Generator enclosure, and Switchboard)
• ITC / Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Fast learner and a Team Player with excellent communication skills.
• Good command in both spoken and written English
