Duties and responsibilities:

· To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.

· To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions.

· To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Client, SO, SOR, QP and Resident Engineer.

· Check shop drawings submitted by contractor, as-built drawings and Operation and Maintenance Manual submitted by contractor; and ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary.

· Submit site daily reports of works done by contractor including daily manpower and equipment status on site to Client and Consultant Team.

· Inspect and maintain records of equipment/machinery/licensed machinery operator/permits (both statutory and aviation requirements)

· To ensure that the structural elements or critical works of the construction works are being
carried out in accordance with the approved plans and with any terms and conditions imposed by the Commissioner of Building Control where necessary.

· To ensure that proper and updated records of all works, including records of variation works, tests, inspections, work progress, materials and equipment/machinery on site, labour safety, provisional quantities, dayworks, etc, are kept.

· To take and carry out instructions from and represent the Client, SO, SOR, QP and Resident Engineer/Architect on site.

Shall possess the following minimum requirements and practical experience stipulated below:

· Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution/university or acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control.

· Registered RTO (with BCA / IES / ACES) with Min. 5 years of RTO experience, institutional Project working experience preferred

· Good understanding in construction drawings and specification for Structural and / or Architectural works

What you will do:

We are looking for an L3 Technical Support Specialist to join our team and lead our efforts in the dynamic APAC region. While the focus of this role is the region, responsibilities are not limited to the region, this is a global role. Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Robotics simulation and reinforcement learning has been advancing a lot making it 1000x cheaper to train robots compared to 5 years ago, and as Jensen Huang said at Nvidia GTC 2024, "the ChatGPT moment for robotics may be just around the corner." A couple other companies are building on the same paradigm shift but we are the only ones using it to automate hardware design, not just software.

Building robots and a design automation platform together brings great synergy - the platform helps us develop robots faster than anyone else and the robots allow us to gather data and do experiments at scale.
