3) Registered Professional Engineer in Singapore or a qualification registrable with the PE Board of Singapore

4) Candidate is expected to manage the overall technical team in all aspect of the firm works involving highrise building structure and geotechnical engineering.

5) As this is a very senior position, the Candidate is expected to have a minimum of at least 20 years experience with minimum of 12 years in Singapore and familiar with Singapore Regulatory requirements.

6) Candidate shall have hands on experience in design and operating of various design and analysis software and able to guide and lead the entire design team

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement successful design strategies and implement them for the project
• Ensuring that the multi-disciplinary teams building the project work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time and within budget
• Overseeing the design process using technical expertise
• Advising on the selection of materials used and other aspects of procurement
• Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met
• Reviewing designs with health and safety in mind
• Ensuring strict compliance of the design in accordance with contractual requirements and Singapore standards
• Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
• Managing processes relating to the project’s design to ensure that everything is delivered to schedule and budget
• Keeping up to date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design
• Prepare and submit Single-Line Diagrams (SLD) and Drawings for FAT.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field with relevant design working experience
• Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore

• Expert Knowledge Application:Providing technical expertise in specific areas such as machinery performance, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and automation technologies.
  Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to construction equipment like excavators, cranes, bulldozers, etc.
• Product Support and Consultation:Offering support to internal teams, clients, or contractors on equipment operation, selection, and maintenance. Guiding the implementation of new technologies or machinery for improving operational efficiency on construction sites.
• Training and Development:Developing training materials and programs for operators, technicians, and engineers on how to use or maintain construction machinery. Conducting workshops or on-site training sessions to ensure safe and efficient use of equipment.
• System Optimization and Maintenance:Analyzing machinery systems (e.g., hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical) to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancing productivity. Leading maintenance schedules and ensuring the equipment operates within recommended parameters.
• Design and Integration:Collaborating with design teams to integrate new technologies (e.g., automation, GPS systems, sensors) into machinery. Working on the development or improvement of machinery components, such as engines, control systems, or structural designs.
• Compliance and Standards:Ensuring that construction machinery adheres to local, national, and international standards for safety, performance, and environmental impact. Supporting the certification processes for machinery and equipment to meet regulatory requirements.
• Project Management Support:Assisting project managers in selecting the appropriate equipment for specific construction tasks. Providing technical evaluations for machinery purchases or rentals and supporting cost-benefit analyses.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering
• At least with 5 years of proven experience in the machinery or related industry

Responsibilities

• Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with the product and delivery teams to understand project requirements.
• Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
• Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage
• Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation

Required skills and qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as an effective technical writer
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
• Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
• Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience (ex: design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a technical team that provides repair services and Preventive Maintenance for all equipment's.
• Manage and to complete the Preventive Maintenance according to the schedule for twice a year.
• Familiar with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Manage equipment installations logistic – pickup & installation for central & regions. Provide report for Breakdown and installation
• Train / work with service specialists and contractors.
• Manage ordering spare parts and equipment's.
• Provide reports for monthly KPI’s and Score Card reports.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in basic air-conditioner/refrigerator service & maintenance
• Able to supervise subordinates closely, customer driven and meticulous
