Role: Quality Engineer (QE)

Position Overview:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of construction materials, processes, and workmanship throughout a project. This role involves QA/QC document developing; monitoring site quality control activities; monitoring compliance with standards; implementing quality assurance procedures to deliver projects that meet contract, client specifications, international standards and Singapore regulatory requirements. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, durable, and safe civil engineering projects while maintaining efficiency and minimizing risks.

Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical cooling products and facilities.

Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer assisted engineering software.

Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or project.

Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation.

Writing reports and compilling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.

Preparing specifications for purchase of electrical equipments and materials.

Estimating material, labour, or project costs for budget preparation.

Supervising or training project team members.

Maintaining electrical equipment.

Working with a variety of technicians

Roles:

-Interpretation and analyze of production drawings & documents. -Implementing best fabrication / machining practices and techniques to develop and maintain efficient processes to achieve productivity, quality and safety.

-Planning of project and management of the project team to keep project on schedule and budget.

-Handle all day-to-day issues and troubleshooting problems as they arises finding efficient and effective solutions.

-Estimate costs for quotation preparation.

-Coordinate and work closely with management, customers, contractors and suppliers.

-Maintain good customer relationship.

-Perform other duties as assigned to ensure success of project and company objectives.

Requirements:

-NItec / Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related.

-At least 5 years experience in metal fabrication and machine shop activities.

-Self-motivated and result-driven mindset

-Great communication and interpersonal skills
