Roles & Responsibilities

• Establish R&D procedures and work processes.
• Manage laboratory day-to-day operations including lab organization, laboratory facilities, and safety protocols.
• Stay up to date with scientific literature/patent, brainstorm new ideas with founders and contribute to the intellectual property of the company.
• Development of new and/or improved product formulation to meet customers requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of bachelors degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science/engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience with track record in formulating / developing new coating products with commercial release.
• Experience working with various types of solvent free, water based and solvent-based coatings /paint chemistry is advantageous.

· Perform feasibility study, concept design, front end engineering design (FEED) and detailed designs for civil & structural (C&S) works in industrial/energy related projects. • Develop and create 2D and 3D piping layouts, plans, isometrics, ensure that piping designs are optimized for efficiency, ease of maintenance, and compliance with project and industry standards
• Create detailed piping layouts and general arrangements for the plant, ensuring that pipe routing minimizes interference with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical) and optimizes space utilization
• Collaborate with stress engineers to ensure pipe routing and support arrangements can handle thermal expansion, seismic loads, and pressure differential
• Prepare detailed piping design deliverables, including pipe routing layouts, support details, isometric drawings, and bill of materials (BOM). Ensure designs comply with all relevant standards
