v) Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.

vi) Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.

vii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Job responsibilities:

• Report to, and provide support to the Lead/ Senior Instrumentation Engineer on assigned projects and report to the Head - Instrumentation Engineering at the basis level.
• Be familiar with and implement Company work processes, procedures and quality policy as appropriate on assigned areas of projects.
• Be aware of Company contractual requirements and Scope Boundaries
• Responsible for work assigned by the Lead / Senior Engineers through project lifecycle phases and for compliance to project specific performance, integrity, quality and HSE requirements relevant to his/ her assigned scope of work. Specific duties could include:
• Prepare requisitions, specifications and datasheets as assigned.
• Evaluate vendor offers and prepare Technical Bid Evaluation Report for assigned packages.
• Populate Instrument database such as SPI/Aveva Instrumentation.
• Prepare and Issue documents such as Instrument Index, Hazardous Are registers etc
• Provide inputs to designers to develop design/drafting deliverables such as cable block diagrams, wiring diagrams, Layouts and review these deliverables
• Assist in preparation of control system deliverables such as I/O lists, Control narratives, Cause and Effect Matrix etc.
• Review and provide technical inputs on Instrumentation Engineering related technical matters to interfacing disciplines
• Review and provide technical inputs to equipment/ package related technical matters
• Be responsible for and manage the Instrumentation Engineering technical interfaces with equipment and package suppliers, in coordination with the Lead/ Senior Instrumentation Engineer, for assigned areas to ensure that the equipment and packages comply with the technical requirements & specifications of and to monitor the compliance to Client’s Basis of Design, Standards & Project Specifications.
• Continuously seek to improve discipline working methods, tools and procedures and contribute actively to “Discipline Development” and “Experience Transfer”.

Work experience requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in instrumentation engineering activities such as preparation of data sheets, specifications, Technical Bid Evaluation reports etc in a reputed engineering consultancy.
• Applicants with less than 5 years of relevant Instrumentation Engineering experience may be considered for junior positions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Electrical/Chemical Engineering with relevant work experience as per above.

Other skills:

• A self-starter who can work independently, make sound decisions, analyse problems and provide focused solutions.
• Good understanding and knowledge of oil and natural gas industry standards such as, but not limited to, API (American Petroleum Institute), ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation),IEC, NORSOK, EU Directives ATEx, IECex requirements and other relevant standards related to Instrumentation Engineering.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience in engineering of Oil and Gas offshore projects would be an advantage.
• Experience in SPI/Aveva Instrumentation would be an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all monitoring system of the building management faciities are in good operating condition (error free) and feedback on all alarms and errors generated form BMS.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Mechanical/Thermal/Process Engineer will support diverse power and energy consulting projects throughout the Asia region. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Mechanical Engineer within the Power and Energy Team, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Clients during project feasibility studies, appraisals, procurement evaluations, contractor/vendor design reviews, engineering processes, construction, commissioning, and performance testing, and when required, presenting to clients.

Assessment, Recording & Reporting

• Use a range of assessments to gather relevant data on students.
• Use data to identify students who may require additional support. Keep detailed records of individual student programmes and achievements.
• Triangulate data, using class teacher assessments, standardised assessments and observations of individual students to build a picture of their strengths and areas of needs.
• Disseminate relevant information to the Learning Support Team, Class Teachers, Teaching and Learning Assistants, Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistants (STLA) and parents.
• Improve links between KS1/KS2/KS3 through the dissemination of information with regards to resources, programmes and assessment tools being used, along with methods of recording, differentiation and moderation.
• Report to parents in accordance with the school’s reporting policy as laid down in the Staff Handbook.

Communication & Liaison

• Liaise with relevant class teachers with regards to the SEND needs in their class and ensuring these needs are understood, planned for, and met.
• Work in close partnership with parents to ensure that the needs of their child are fully understood and met.
• Act as a link teacher to optimise transition and support to the next year group.
• Contribute to the strengthening of the parent-teacher partnership in individual and whole school initiatives.
• Liaise with internal support systems – Educational Psychologist, Counselling Team, Nursing Team, pastoral team and any other relevant supports.
• Liaise with outside agencies (e.g. Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists, etc).

Pastoral & Co-Curriculum

• Follow the School’s policies and procedures with regard to discipline and behaviour, daily routines, duties, attendance at meetings, INSET, etc as laid down in the Staff Handbook.
• Fulfil CCA commitment in line with school policies.
• Be responsible for reporting any concerns about a child to the Designated Safeguarding Lead, monitoring relevant vulnerable students and keeping clear and detailed records.
