The BMS Engineer deployed on site is required to perform planned and ad-hoc maintenance works including supervise the Technicians and Contractors in carrying out the works in specific projects. What you will be doing:

• Perform maintenance services and supervise contractors / vendors in the delivery of equipment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in enhancing system reliability, performance, and scalability while ensuring the seamless functioning of our production environments. Mandatory Skill Sets:

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Information Systems;
• At least 10+ years of experience in system administration, SRE, or DevOps roles;
• Strong expertise in Unix/Linux systems and databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, SingleStore, or MongoDB;
• Experience with high availability and high-scale systems;
• Proficiency in Python and Unix scripting for automation;
• Experience with incident management, including post-incident retrospectives and resolution;
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent

Desired Skill Set:

• Familiarity with database backup, archiving, and system performance tuning;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, driving continuous improvement in system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor solutions that improve reliability and performance of production services;
• Manage and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and documenting post-incident reviews;

Seeking Singaporean with min 4 years good working experiences as L2 Production or Application Support with strong skillsets of Linux and SQL and able to work shift hours on-site to provide 24x7 operational support including weekends and holidays as per assigned roster

1 year contract under employment agency payroll

Work Location: Changi Business Park

Monthly salary inclusive of allowance: $4600 to $5600 (company does not offer bonus)

Below is the Shift Timing (Working 5 days a week, need to support including night shift, weekends and public holidays)

• Morning shift: 6am to 3pm
• General shift: 9am to 6pm
• Afternoon shift: 2pm to 11pm
• Night shift: 10pm to 7am

Transport is claimable - before 7am (for morning shift 6am to 3pm), after 11pm (afternoon shift 2pm to 11pm)

Jobscope:

• Provide 24x7 operational support for all production practices including weekends and holidays for Bank Security Apps
• Ensure system availability 24x7. Perform system Recovery in the event of system incapacity or outages.
• Provide technical expertise to facilitate investigation of complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Possess strong understanding of technical and subject matter expertise that can be leveraged to identify and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
• Monitor System health check & work towards continuous improvement to prevent system issues by early problem detection. Automate the daily monitoring and manual operations to improve system resiliency and stability.
• Regular health-check and capacity assessment of Production environment from BAU growth perspective and incoming project volume.
• Manage end to end Incident Management including investigation, recovery of service, and post recovery follow up on corrective/ preventive actions.
• Manage customer queries and close reported incidents within agreed SLA with business. Work with different stakeholders including business, infrastructure and application support teams to resolve the issues.
• Work with infra support including Middleware, DBA and SAs on system maintenance & infra related issues troubleshooting.
• Work on application BAU related tasks & projects, e.g. DR exercise, audit queries, SOP documentations update, system upgrade for EOS/EOL components, etc
• Ensure strong governance on Change Management Process, Data protection and Priviledge ID access control.
• Work in shift on-site to provide 24x7 operational support including weekends and holidays as per assigned roster. Roster is 5-day work per week. Those on shift on weekends/ public holidays will be given off on weekday
