General Overview

This position is part of the site Mechanical team that provides technical/maintenance support to the Operation and Project teams in LNG Terminal. He/she would be mainly responsible for overseeing the safe and reliable operations and maintenance of the Terminal assets from the Mechanical discipline perspective.

The incumbent is also responsible for establishing, reviewing and overseeing the relevant mechanical design elements of new build equipment / asset enhancement activities and implementation of minor mechanical engineering projects, while ensuring the overall mechanical integrity of the terminal.

Roles and ResponsibilIties

Work Experience

Responsibilities and duties

The System Engineer is responsible to monitor and resolve all issues related to company IT & related systems (hosted on premise and on cloud).

Act as a single point of contact for all reported IT & related system issues and queries related. Take full responsibilities to escalate and work with IT/Systems vendors to resolve reported issues within SLA.

The System Engineer will assist the IT Infrastructure Manager to maintain, support and optimized key functional areas such as network, server, data & telecommunications system, video conferencing equipment and security.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

IT Support and Management

· Ensure the smooth running of all IT & related systems (on premise and on cloud)

· Take the lead on all IT & related system incidents and problem management

· Assist IT Infrastructure Manager on infrastructure investment and support budgets (including system license, maintenance and related IT support costs)

· Working closely with IT application team to ensure compliance to information security audit requirements and provide IT technical assistance wherever necessary

· Ensure proper IT infrastructure policies, standards, procedures and risk controls are followed during issues resolution

Delivery management

· Project manage implementation and deployment of infrastructure/systems in accordance with corporate agreed priorities and deadlines

· Drive good project management practices and governance within the IT and vendor teams

Outsourcing and vendor management

· Assist IT Infrastructure Manager to monitor all outsource infrastructure/system vendors performance against agreed SOW and SLA

Requirements

· Diploma in Computer Engineering or related

· At least 2-3 years of working experience with systems (on premise and cloud technologies)

· Experience in one or more of the following domains: Microsoft Windows & Servers technologies, Cisco networking, WAN technologies (SD-WAN), Security, Virtualization, Storage, Backup/Disaster Recovery, Private/Public/Hybrid Cloud based technologies

· Hands-on experience in supporting PC/notebook hardware, network printer, MS Windows and standard software (MS office, Antivirus, internet browser) and Outlook client, desktop setup, wireless, Active directory, VPN setup/troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities:

• Design review and manage for the geotechnical works such as ERSS, piling, ground improvement, slope and etc.
• To assess, analyze and design slopes for various civil engineering projects.
• Prepare slope stability assessments, reports and design drawings.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate slope design into overall project plans.
• Provide technical support during construction phases to ensure design integrity.
• Plan and coordinate with clients or authorized party for inspection work on site.
• Carry out structure inspection to existing building structure or infrastructure to identify defects and repair required.
• Report the outcome of the inspection to the QP and prepare inspection reports in designated format.
• Liaison with Authorities (BVA, PUB, URA etc) on submissions.
• Verify claims from sub-contractors.
• Track progress of work for each project and submit progress payment claim to clients on regular basis.
