RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform the designs using in-house adsorption tools.
• Prepare the simulation files for SRU/TGU catalyst using Hysys.
• Prepare the simulation files for HPC using in-house tool.
• Prepare the technical proposal to meet the customers’ RFQ requirements.
• Provide on-site service for catalyst and adsorbent loading and start-up
• Support business manager on technical inquires.
• Resolve technical issues quickly and effectively at customer site or remotely.
• Develop technical services plan and execute the plan to meet customer expectation and demand.
• Carry out on-site excellent technical services and adhere to best practices standard.
• Prepare the Technical Service Visit Report
• Prepare various technical reports and presentations (internal and customer) and assures consistent communications.
• Work with other functions to develop value-added services relative to technical services

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical engineering or Chemistry
• Minimum 3 years of experience in related industrials e.g. Oil refining and Petrochemical
• Comprehensive knowledge of Chemical Engineering
• Comprehensive knowledge of refining and petrochemical plant
• In-depth Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills

Application Engineer requires the ability to support the Commercial Team, both technically and commercially. It also requires involvement in cross departmental teams at new order handover meetings and other projects. It requires a proactive approach to maintaining and developing the companies’ working tools and practices.

• Provide technical solutions in order to bid and be able to detail design mixers, this would involve calculating and sizing process equipment (such as Static Mixers, Agitators, High Shear Mixers, Pumps)
• Present technical solutions to clients and other industry professionals
• Create and develop proposal and enquiry documents, detail design and specify for purposes of quotation, purchase and manufacture
• Request and evaluate sub-vendors proposals and required to reply to bid clarifications
• Attend and participate in client meetings, bid clarification meetings, technical discussions, project kick-off meetings and provide process inputs to ensure customer care is foremost
• Be fully familiar and conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times
• Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate or as may be reasonably expected by the line manager

Responsibilities

· Prepares the schedule and oversee the T&I activities as per project specifications and procedures.

· Manages the subordinates’ staff in the day-to-day activities and that project goals are met as per budget.

· Coordinates with several departments related to T&I of project.

· Supervises the performance of his team and should respond to the issues during T&I.

· Attends the Project meetings and update the status.

· Liaises and review with T&I companies’ regarding transportation and

· Installation process, approach and time-lines to de-risk changes to schedule.

· Develops and drive the logistics concepts for project from conception to completion.

Requirements

· Minimum Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

· At least 7 ~ 10 years of relevant experience

· Ability to work independently in a team environment and possess good planning, organizational, interpersonal skills.

· Good experience in EPC projects for oil and gas , offshore renewables & system

NDT engineer in conventional & advanced NDT – Hands-on practical testing in UT, RT, MT, PT, ET, PAUT & TOFD, Conducting Training for Level 1 & Level 2 courses, Consulting Solutions in NDT Applications in various industry.

Our projects sites are in offshore and onshore in Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Bangladesh & India) & Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, & Qatar) regions. Work regions are not limited to countries mentioned but based on opportunities and vision of company’s business development. Hence, the person we choose shall agree to travel around these regions.

As much of the work will be at sites, we are looking for hands-on practically oriented person with dynamic qualities who can handle site pressure and exigencies. The job involves, testing (Conventional & Advanced NDT) of pressure vessels, pipelines, structures, and other products etc. The job also requires you to conduct training course in conventional and advanced NDT as deployed by operations in-charge.

• Assisting Department Manager on day-to-day operations and to be a good role model setting good example including managing and supervision his subordinates with positive attitude towards work, customers, company and profitability of the job at all times.
• Execution of his daily duties including planning of work-scope, personnel allocation; assess tool requirement, scheduling, assessment, execution of repair and service works on diesel engine and auxiliary equipment components of two/four stroke engines. Monitor progress and ensure works are carried out on time and budget to correct quality levels.
• Track and update work progress and delivery schedules for recon. components.
• Evaluate safe and efficient work procedures to recommend modified or new tooling or process
• Assist with the compilation and production of service reports, calibration reports, draft invoices and work specifications etc., including ISO work instructions, risk assessment and checklist for all works.
• Liaise with customers and class, agents and other involved parties as well as other Goltens departments, QC, Sales staff etc. during repair projects including techno - commercial aspects with sub - contractors and vendors on outsourced reconditioning and repair works.
• Provide on-the job training to assigned personnel, monitor to verify skill levels and actively participate in the development of Goltens personnel to improve the quality of work.
• Ability to involve in the counseling process as part of the discipline action in the case of violation of rules of your subordinates.
• Have self-discipline, ownership and be responsible in maintaining the workshop, plant equipment, tools in good order and ensure good housekeeping in all job locations are well upkeep at all times.
