This role will be based in either SS&C’s Singapore or Hong Kong office.
The APAC TA Business Operations Support team is responsible for providing operations support services to the Transfer Agency Operations team servicing SS&C’s valued clients. This covers a range of operational support functions including configuration of TA applications for new client onboardings, first level production support issues, operational BAU support and supporting client driven small scale projects.
The role focuses on a range of products with the portfolio consisting of:
A core Unit Registry platform
Surrounding products of the Unit Registry platform that forms the ecosystem of application connectivity
An enterprise digital platform for advisors and investors for Transfer Agency activities

Role Responsibilities:
Manage a team across multiple geographical locations and develop a highly effective team
Versatile in managing support teams across different APAC locations to guide and train on TA processes
Establish good working relations with APAC TA Business Operations and work closely to support Operations BAU, new businesses and initiatives
Develop and motivate the team to drive performance efficiency and manage conflicts
Communicate effectively with internal technology support teams and external TA vendors to resolve system issues and maintain service level standards
Support new client onboarding by engaging all stakeholders to achieve end to end implementation

As a Performance Operations System/FactSet Support, your main focus will be to support and maintain our FactSet Systems (B-One system and FactSet (SPAR/PA) system), used by the Performance team for the production of performance measurement, reporting and attribution analysis.
You will also support our enterprise-wide operating model for Performance & Analytics (“P&A”) Reporting, that would include integration with our proprietary database called HERA for downstream reporting in HERA and ATHENA Dashboards, and with our data providers (Fund Accountants & Middle Office Service Provider) for all data related queries & feeds.
In addition, you will have supplementary responsibilities that would include ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of investment performance and analytical reporting for various stakeholders, that include Portfolio Managers, Client Groups (Sales and Marketing), Senior Management and Local Business Units (LBUs).

Ensure all new procedures are documented and agreed

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
5 years relevant experience in support & maintaining Performance or Attribution system, for performance analysis, investment risk analysis or similar role
Experience in using Factset Systems (preferably FactSet (SPAR/PA/Vault) system, B-One is a plus)
Implementation / System Migration experience of a Performance or Attribution system is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar field
Understanding of portfolio analysis including performance calculation methodologies and risk analytics
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex formulas and financial instruments (eg: derivatives)
Strong knowledge of Excel and SQL queries
Good Python, C# and VBA skillset to support data transformation & workflow automation
CIPM or CFA is preferred (or working towards)
Language skills – English required, fluency in one or more asian languages will be a plus
