Accountabilities

• To lead the Molding process development aspects of project implementation to deliver results within projected timeline, excellent execution and documentation.

• To lead user requirement specification (URS) development for processes equipment and liaise with vendors on technical discussion.

• To lead design reviews for processes equipment and work with global/ R&D team to develop and transfer the technology to site.

• To develop and execute equipment and processes validation approach / plan.

• To lead and execute new equipment and processes installation, optimization, commissioning, qualification and validation.

• To proactively communicate project progress, key issues and any other critical topics in a timely manner to the appropriate management level and vendors.

• To ensure compliance to cGMPs, IS013485 / FDA, HSE, and policy requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation)or relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Experience: 5-10 years working experience in contact lens or optical device manufacturing or similar environment.
• Good understanding of processes automation system, vision inspection system, robotics and GMP/GDP requirement.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skill with systemic approach.
• Good leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Senior Engineers for design requirements and specifications.
• Assist in Analog, mixed-signal, and digital IC design.
• Participate in RTL coding and verification for digital ICs.
• Support design verification tasks.
• Conduct circuit simulations and analysis using Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics tools.
• Assist layout engineers with floor planning.
• Analyze and debug silicon failures, suggesting design improvements.
• Contribute to the development of design methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Document design work and test plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful tape-out.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalents.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Understanding the IC development flow in advanced CMOS processes, including design, layout, and tape-out.
• Understanding the fundamental theories of digital or analog circuit design.
• Capability to generate inventive designs and circuit solutions tailored to fulfill customer needs.

• Familiarity with verification methodologies and tools including simulators, waveform viewers, automated execution, simulation time optimization, and coverage analysis.
• Proficient in programming abilities, capable of crafting efficient scripts or programs in languages such as Perl, Python, and/or C.

Introduction
In this role you will assist engineers in device development. Responsible to optimize and develop device and processes to lead to device characterization.

Your Job

• Handling high precision equipment to perform sophisticated semiconductor device characterization involving MOSFET, BJT, Sensor & non-volatile memory devices.
• Coding for test automation
• Development of testing capability
• Management of testing tools, including spares, calibration, and repairs

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Field of specialization: Microelectronics (preferred)
• 3 yrs of relevant experience in similar role

• Familiar with Microsoft Excel (preferably including macros) and Word

• Knowledgeable about the design flow and collaboration with backend teams.
• Familiar with AMBA APB and AXI protocols.
• Familiar with RISC/Arm or other core architectures.

Job Requirement

• 3 Years’ experience electronic system design
• Knowledge in Linux OS , Python, Verilog, Synopsys
• Knowledge in Embedded system and Network communication
• Good skill in C/C++ programming
• Able to co-operate with system designer and hardware engineer.
