The Nanyang Technological University NTI-NTU Corporate Laboratory is looking for an Research Engineer II (Research Project Management Officer) to oversee operations, manage lab equipment, and maintain a safe, efficient environment. Responsible for coordinating equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading a team towards successful research and development outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate concurrent research projects together with Corp Lab director, PIs and ensuring they are completed within time and budget, and meet quality standards.
• Oversee research laboratory and facility operations, ensuring safety and efficiency of research activities in Corp Lab. Uphold all relevant health and safety regulations from university within the laboratory.
• Coordinate equipment scheduling, delivery, and maintenance together with researchers and project PIs

Your main responsibilities include planning, design, supervision and coordination of projects. You will work closely with other technical professionals, regulatory authorities and contractors to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and clients’ requirements.

Requirements:

• You should possess a good honours degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of design and supervisory experience in high-rise building construction and civil engineering work

What will you do?

· Generates/Provides conceptual proposal in supporting mechanical design review.

· Proficient in 3D CAD modeling preferably Pro-Engineer and Solidworks.

· Establish modular design and full product bill of material structure.

· Build and create sub-assembly test plan and report if any.
