Job Description: Mechanical Engineer (ESG-SGEP)

The specialization of this job role will enable mechanical & structural design initiatives.

Responsibilities

· Serve as local design lead for customized design and pre-sales proposal, platform design, design-changes, trials, and root-cause analysis.

· Own mechanical and structural analysis using CAE tools.

· Own basic on-site component and system level testing to support design and specification changes, coordinate validation testing for changes with global team.

· Organize Root-Cause & Corrective Analysis for design issues

· Collaborate directly with Manufacturing, Process, and Quality to solve yield barriers and scrap issues

Requirements

· Degree with less than 3 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the customer to understand application constraints and performance criteria to translate their needs into design requirements optimized for 3D Printing
• Implement generative design and topology optimization techniques to enhance efficiency and material utilization and ensure that parts designed consider factors such as build orientation, support structures, and material characteristics
• Generate and finalize part design and assist process engineers to develop proper manufacturing processes
• Stay abreast of advancements in metal 3D printing technologies, materials, and design methodologies and continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and techniques to improve design processes and outcomes

Qualifications：

• Master in mechanical engineering or similar technical discipline
• 3+ years in metal 3D printing
• Experience using Additive Manufacturing Software such as Materialise Magics
• Familiarity with a range of additive manufacturing materials and their properties
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think innovatively in the context of additive manufacturing
• Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying design concepts and collaborating with team members
• Willing to travel (25% of time)

· Good team player and work closely with other domain specialist to design complex solutions

· Analyze business requirements to develop technical solutions and system design

· Generate solution design, project document and Bill of Material for customer requirement

· Conduct in-house evaluation and Proof of Concept trial with stakeholders

· Liaison with principal vendors to understand their products, solution and pricing

· Assist the project engineers during Technical Project implementation and conduct of training

· Handle system administration, network support, implementation, troubleshooting in Windows / Linux

· Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems

· Expected to address any ad hoc activities when needed by the technical team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Instrument and Control Engineering.
• 15 years’ experience in instrument and control system design work.
• Knowledge and experience in Field Instrument Engineering as well as Control System, e.g. DCS, ESD, F&G.
• Able to work at construction site to support construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

AV Engineer/ DSP Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with manufacturers and engineers to implement and service audiovisual and video conferencing solutions.
• Perform system configuration, testing, and commissioning of integrated audiovisual and video conferencing solutions.
• Conduct end-user training sessions on the usage of implemented solutions.
• Collaborate with in-house AV designers and engineers from various manufacturers (Samsung, BOSE, Crestron, Extron, Poly, Logitech, etc.) for integrated solutions in venues such as meeting rooms, lecture halls, experience centers, command centers, auditoriums, ballrooms, etc.

a) To report to the Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

i) Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.

ii) Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.

iii) Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.

iv) For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.

v) Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.

vi) Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.

vii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Job Requirements

· Provide hardware support and services to colleagues.

· Possess knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (ADDS) and Firewall Administration, particularly with Sophos.

· Offer hands-on assistance with system setup onsite or guide users through the process remotely.
