We are looking for an L1+L2 App Support Engineer to join our dynamic team! You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of applications and providing technical support to end users.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and quickly implementing solutions to restore systems to full functionality.
• Keep detailed documentation of user interactions, reported problems, solutions applied, and any further actions needed by management or tier 2 support.
• Create user manuals and troubleshooting guides to aid both support teams and users in effectively interacting with the system.
• Work closely with L3 Technical staff and the project manager to set objectives and plan system upgrades and improvements.
• Develop and implement new procedures to boost efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and reduce operational costs.

Job Requirements:

• Singaporean only.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to handle Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Prior experience with some programming languages (HTML, JAVA) will be an added advantage.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with experience in identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) and version control tools (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• Prior experience in supporting mobile or web applications.

1. At least 2 years IT Service Desk experience or,

2. At least 1 year in IT Remote Support experience or,

3. At least 1 year IT Onsite/Desktop Support Experience

• Perform troubleshooting for client platform related problems
• Support Windows OS, office software, and other Desktop Related Software & Hardware Respond promptly to incident,
• investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated
• Liaise with support vendors for maintenance, support or issues resolution

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite IT support in a professional and courteous manner.
• Coordinate break-fix of IT related equipment with support teams in incident/problem investigation and resolution.
• Able to identify incident trends in order to elevate incidents in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Ensure timely case attention, resolution, escalation and closure, so that SLA is met
• Ensure timely escalation of major and critical incidents.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Information Technologies or related fields.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant working experiences in IT Deskside, Desktop support
• Working knowledge in experience with MS Windows Operating Systems.
• Basic PC staging and hardware configuration & administration e.g., tablet, printer, RF & barcode scanner, Cisco IP phone etc.
• Basic network infrastructure knowledge and smart hands support.
• Training for new products or tools for end users.
• Positive working attitude and willing to learn and take up new tasks as and when assigned.

• This is on 12 months, renewable contract
